Repositioning from Japan

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

We took this cruise as a gentle way to go home to Canada from Japan. (We had done an around Japan cruise with Windstar beforehand) It was very enjoyable, food great, staff lovely, entertainment good. There were alot of sea days together but we got a routine of trivias, podium talks, hot tubs and eating in the day as the weather was too cold to be out on deck much or in the swimming pool. The ...

Celebrity is one of our favourite cruise lines. The staff are always friendly and so helpful. The facilities on board are all good. Our cabin was as expected. The captain is one of the best we have experienced on all the cruise lines. The entertainment team were excellent especially Paul the cruise director, who was a very talented performer in his own right. We ate breakfast and lunch mostly in ...

Review for a Asia Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

This was 14 day cruise from Yokohama to Hong Kong, with stops in Shimizu, Kobe (for Kyoto), Nagasaki, Shanghai, Okinawa, and Taipei. We would recommend this itinerary as a good introduction to this part of Asia. This was our fourth cruise on a Celebrity M-Class ship and our twenty-first cruise overall. (But this is my first review- apologies for the length!) The Millennium met our ...

Japan and a little bit of China After having two Japan cruises cancelled by Celebrity, we finally made it to Japan, with a touch of China. It turned out to be one of our favorite trips. We very much liked Japan, and its people. The people were friendly and many were very helpful to us. The country was clean, with no trash on the street or graffiti on bridges or buildings. The people were polite ...

We had a wonderful cruise from Tokyo to Hong Kong on the Celebrity Millennium. It met and in some cases exceeded our expectations of the cruise. Having read a fair few of the reviews, while we did notice some of the challenges mentioned, for us, any negatives were so few as they didn't distract us from our lovely holiday. We had one of the "sweet 16" cabins where the balcony is about double the ...

There were four of us. All frequent world travelers and cruisers. We left on the Millennium from Tokyo on Sept. 28 for l4 days. What a fantastic crew on a great medium size ship. We have sailed on all the Solstice ships which are newer and larger but the Millennium is a charmer. The food was excellent; the service was wonderful and we had a great time. There was every kind of food imaginable in ...

The Millennium is a fantastic ship

After spending 14 nights on the Millennium I cannot understand the recent negative reviews. Either some people are very unlucky or they have a serious attitude problem because the ship and her staff are absolutely wonderful. I was a little hesitant about "downgrading" to an M-class ship after our previous S-class experience but I needn't have worried. The ship is in great condition and has a great ...

I was in the cruise to Japan, Korea, China from September 28- October 12. The cruise experience was very good, absolutely worth the money paid. Service provided was excelent everywhere in the ship. the only con. was internet service: it was impossible to send email from the ship and the charge was by the minute even the speed of the internet was close to zero.. I would like to say big thanks ...
