This was our second Celebrity Cruise, and it was chosen for its Ports of call rather than the Cruise Line although the ports of call in Japan and South Korea were fascinating the weather could have been better. Quite a few passengers including ourselves could not understand why Celebrity was caring out this cruise at this time of year as it was the start of the Typhoon season ?. It turned out it ...

We had heard good things about Celebrity but sadly it did not live up to them. We booked Aqua Class for the so called exclusive Blu restaurant at which you just turn up - no need to book. What they did not make clear was that there was not enough tables for all the Aqua class guests, so 5 nights out of the 11 we turned up and were given a bleeper and told to go away until a table became free - ...

So we are what is known as "cruisers"...and love the carefree way to travel around the world, but we will never sail again on an old ship..refurbished or not. Our trip a few weeks ago to Asia resulted in a very unpleasant experience with surely help, not enough help, smells of sewer backup all around the ship with passengers finding the toilets in the rooms had filled up with sewage in the mornings ...

the places she was sailing.to were amazing but the ship needs to retire. She's old and needs to go to the 'great harbour in the sky!'. The food was often tepid on the buffet - in fact I complained about the cold garlic bread so much that every time I entered the restaurant I was presented with piping hot garlic bread! I also got the enhanced breakfast baked beans with added ingredients to ...

I've been on two other Celebrity Cruises, both on Solstice-class ships. Had wonderful experiences on these prior two cruises. Unfortunately, Celebrity's brand has been tarnished by having the cruising public being exposed to the Millennium. We had a Sky Suite with an enormous balcony that was not usable due to the stench of sewage. While we did not have this stench in our suite, we could smell ...
