The cruise experience was good. First I appreciated that everybody was tested for COVID before boarding. Very good food and plentiful including local preparations and fresh fruits, lots of restaurants on board, also lots of activities for all ages, games, music, dancing etc. The personnel always smiling, patient and helpful, the ship clean with good maintenance. The access for the passengers to ...

We selected this cruise as we were familiar with the Azamara line, having sailed with them previously. We prefer ships with fewer than 1,000 passengers, port-intensive itineraries, and the carefree nature of all-inclusive voyages. This was our 42nd cruise in all, and our fourth with Azamara. The embarkation check in process was abysmal. We had submitted our pre-boarding forms electronically along with photos and brought copies with us. When we got to check in, NONE of that work paid off. The itinerary was the reason for this cruise, even in this time of the year without cherry blossoms or Indian summer colors (too late, too early). It was a time of intense activity as there was another port every day and the climate which was hot and humid made it streneous as well. We knew the Quest from one other cruise, our other 18 cruises with Azamara we have had with Journey and ...

We chose this cruise because it was next on our bucket list. We really wanted to know Japan, not just from Tokyo, but from the aspect of the people in the smaller towns and ports. We have also had great experiences with the Intensive cruise on Azamara in the past. We hold Azamara to a very high standard based on past sailings. This cruise met and exceeded our expectations. The high points are ...
