This was our first time on this ship, and our first fly-cruise since 2020.Our first problem was a eight-hour delay at Stansted, and a very long walk to the baggage, when we finally got to La Palma. The late arrival on the ship meant we went to the buffet, that is now called The Kichens. Our cabin on Deck 4 was a fair size and a large picture-window.The first day at sea let us explore the ship, and the ...

First time on a cruise, thoroughly enjoyed it! Lovely tasty food and a great selection. Particlary liked islands restaurant, were you could pick your own food. 47 restaurant was great too with attentive waiters.Loved the Antrium bar and enjoyed the cocktails there. Squid and anchor bar was more family friendly, with quizzes and participation events.Entertainment was good, very entertaining shows ...

A Honeymoon/Birthday of which we couldn't do because of covid, and my wife and I both work for the NHS and with having a big family between us, it is hard to get the same time off.

We chose this cruise to get a taste of what it's like on a two week Mediterranean cruise, plus we got great feedback from friends, my wife Dawn and I couldn't fault anything about our experience, the staff in all departments were lovely and professional, mannerism was spot on, and the shows, wow wow wow, we were blown away, the food was great, the cocktails were tasty, everyone we met onboard who ...

I read some reviews before we went on this ship and was preparing myself for the worst but I needn't have worried it is as good as the other 2 that we have been on Disco2/ Explo2 , different layout to the others imho for the better, yes there are areas that need attention but I read one review where they were moaning about lightbulbs being out, I do believe that if you let negativity kick in then ...

We chose this cruise as we had always wanted to see Gibraltar a d it's a place well worth a visit, however the cruise experience is pretty dire, we are regular cruisers and can honestly say this is the worst ever, we don't usually moan but this is a much needed warning. The ship is very old and tired with what seems to be a shortage of staff, every day we had to queue to get into breakfast, ...

Currently on board Discovery 2 this ship is very tired with threadbare carpet on the stairs showers with no water pressure, food is ok but nothing special ate in the Kora La yet again not brilliant but ok, we are regular cruisers with tui and all i can say is this is the worst ship in the fleet. We had a junior suite the balcony was disgusting rust and flaking paint, you no longer get clarins ...

TUI choices ruined it for us

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Marella Voyager

TUI choose what ports they dock at during the cruise, they choose what excursions to include and sadly, on both counts, this was awful. The excursions to rome and barcelona both had long coach trips around the cities and then being dropped on the outskirts of the city with no map or guide. During the coach trip around the city the guide in the bus pointed out things but if you were slow, or on the ...

We have just returned from the Western Mediterranean cruise on Marella Voyager and sadly this is the worst holiday we've had. It was supposed to be a special holiday, we really wanted to visit Italy and thought this would be a good way of doing so. To begin, I'll give a review of the facilities. We booked a balcony cabin which was lovely - much more spacious than we expected, nicely ...

We really enjoyed our time on the Voyager . The new furnishings were lovely and bright and well thought out. Our cabin was clean and most importantly the bed was very comfortable. Cabins are cleaned every day. Staff are friendly always smiling and asking how your day went on your return. The food on board was good and catered for all tastes. We have been on Marella cruises before and found ...
