I love this ship, the staff are lovely, the ship is beautiful. there's lots of choice food and drinks. the only things i didn't like is the 2 jacuzzi's in the indoor pool, they never worked av been on 2 cruises with discovery, and each cruise i've not seen them work yet. and i just wish when you travel to a colder place like Norway or Russia the pools were heated, you pay all that money and can't ...
12th cruise, first time on a TUI ship. Excellent itinerary. Had to wait on the runway for 95 mins as the plane wings had to be de-iced. No drinks were offered, a very poor show.
Overall the cruise was fantastic with no major complaints
. We had most of our evening meals at Gallery or Gallery 47. We always went at around 6-6:30 never queued and only once there was no room at the Gallery, so ...
I have written to tui 4 times to complain about the holiday but have not had any satisfaction.
The dreamliner plane and staff were not good. One person landed without a seatbelt, and the seat in front of us was not in an upright position as it was broken.
We were herded from plane to ship.
Some staff on the ship were unhelpful, and rude.
The food was dreadful. Very monotonous, ...
Both myself, 44 and my partner of the same age travelled on this cruise as part of a "Cruise and Stay" package deal with Thomson. I carried out quite a bit of research beforehand with this being our first cruise as quite a few of our friends have travelled on various ships and cruise every year. We decided on the Thomson brand as a friend said this one was the best for entertainment for British ...
Flights delayed going and returning to Gatwick. We paid premium seating but did not even sit with each other there or back. Cabin on 8th deck with balcony didn't have the usual wow factor. Cabin stewards were excellent.Been on cruises around the Med. First trip to Caribbean. I will not be rushing back there.
Didn't like the ship. Had better food and the entertainment was so rubbish. Thought ...
We have been cruising with Thomson once or twice a year for the last 17 years but since TUI has taken over standards have gone down-hill.
Food was not up to cruising standards and service was very poor- not enough staff and some staff in Island restaurant even rude, ignoring passengers' requests.
The layout of food and seating in the Island restaurant was a disaster - people wandering ...
The flow of geting on and off ship was very smooth. Smashing ship, glad we chose smaller compared to some we saw en route. One couple who were not on our ship described her as "a lovely old lady" and big and new is not always better, we agree. It's the personal more intimate touches on a smaller ship. The cleanliness was just astounding, from our cabin with a balcony to the non stop cleaning of ...
Well what can i say except for fantastic, the ship was great clean well maintained first look at it was wow, our cabin was 2574 and it was lovely enough room to move around so no complaints, all the restaurants where nice but the main restaurant was amazing food was excellent service excellent the 2 hostesses Snezana and Khrystyna where lovely always polite and had time to have a wee bit laugh ...
We chose this to try the new ship and a different Caribbean itinerary, having twice cruised on the Dream, and several times in the Med on Celebration. The timing was to coincide with my 70th birthday on Day 2 (day at sea), so we sailed on New Year;s Day, having flown Thomson Premium Club from London, Gatwick.
Transfer from the airport to ship was pretty quick, with the luggage going ...
We chose this cruise by sheer chance, having tussled for weeks with different options for a celebratory holiday for our 40th Anniversary. We were not to regret the choice.
While the destinations varied in the degree of interest which they offered there can be no doubt that the choices catered for all tastes from the die hard scuba divers, snorkelers and swimmers with dolphins or turtles in such ...
