Met up with friends for this cruise. We all felt standards have dropped. Undercooked and cold food in islands. Much better in 47. We went with two other couples and had a fabulous time. The food is top quality (as an Irish person, mashed potatoes and custard in the Buffet style restaurant a good yardstick and both were well above par demanding a second visit) and are staff very quick to clear empty plates so no messy tables. The first thing to note is that whilst this ship is new to Marella it was built in 1994 and in places despite a refit is showing its age. You will need to travel on TUIs German Mein Schiff 1 & 2 if you want brand new ships!
