We are seasoned cruisers with almost 40 cruises under our belt having had the pleasure of sailing on most lines including Cunard, Celebrity, Azamara, RC, Princess, Oceania and Marella. We had booked this cruise as a 60th birthday celebration for a long serving member of my staff. Whilst we had sailed on discover 2 many years ago I was rather apprehensive looking at recent reviews prior to our ...

We have cruised with tui 30ish times, this time on the voyager we were disappointed in the kitchens. The food was very repetative, we never saw a roast or a Yorkshire pudding, the food was the same every day, and the queues at lunch were awful. There has always been a carvery meat. The food in latitude 53 was nice and the waiting staff were fantastic. We never waited long in the evening for a ...

This was our first time on this ship, and our first fly-cruise since 2020.Our first problem was a eight-hour delay at Stansted, and a very long walk to the baggage, when we finally got to La Palma. The late arrival on the ship meant we went to the buffet, that is now called The Kichens. Our cabin on Deck 4 was a fair size and a large picture-window.The first day at sea let us explore the ship, and the ...

We cruised on Marella Explorer for two weeks from Corfu from 6th October to the Adriatic and the Aegean. Our only complaint was about flying into and out of Corfu Airport, absolute chaos!! And try as hard as they do there is nothing Tui can do about it. We will never fly to Corfu again. This was our first cruise with Marella having only cruised previously with P&O. The Marella Explorer ...

First time on a cruise, thoroughly enjoyed it! Lovely tasty food and a great selection. Particlary liked islands restaurant, were you could pick your own food. 47 restaurant was great too with attentive waiters.Loved the Antrium bar and enjoyed the cocktails there. Squid and anchor bar was more family friendly, with quizzes and participation events.Entertainment was good, very entertaining shows ...

A Honeymoon/Birthday of which we couldn't do because of covid, and my wife and I both work for the NHS and with having a big family between us, it is hard to get the same time off.

We chose this cruise to get a taste of what it's like on a two week Mediterranean cruise, plus we got great feedback from friends, my wife Dawn and I couldn't fault anything about our experience, the staff in all departments were lovely and professional, mannerism was spot on, and the shows, wow wow wow, we were blown away, the food was great, the cocktails were tasty, everyone we met onboard who ...

This was our 9th cruise and our second time on Marella. We are not sure we would use them again unless certain aspects improve. Firstly the positives We flew to Dubrovnik with Tui and the flight and transfers were seamless for us. Having our cases collected from outside our cabin for the journey home and not seeing them again until we got to Gatwick was brilliant. We visited ports in ...

I read some reviews before we went on this ship and was preparing myself for the worst but I needn't have worried it is as good as the other 2 that we have been on Disco2/ Explo2 , different layout to the others imho for the better, yes there are areas that need attention but I read one review where they were moaning about lightbulbs being out, I do believe that if you let negativity kick in then ...

We chose this cruise as we had always wanted to see Gibraltar a d it's a place well worth a visit, however the cruise experience is pretty dire, we are regular cruisers and can honestly say this is the worst ever, we don't usually moan but this is a much needed warning. The ship is very old and tired with what seems to be a shortage of staff, every day we had to queue to get into breakfast, ...
