Very Mediocre, and not worth the money at all.

We went on this cruise with several people following our favorite Troprock singer. Our group had 71 people in it. That part we enjoyed immensely. The Captain and crew were friendly, except for the European gal at the customer desk (of all places). The boat has newer carpet and such, but is still somewhat tired. Our cabin was mildew smelling, and had veneer off several doors and pieces of ...

I have just returned from the Christmas cruise on the Tere Moana. Previously I have cruised on large ships and ships even smaller than the Tere Moana. I have also done the Paul Gauguin Tahiti and Society Islands cruise. We couldn't have wished for a lovelier trip. The itinerary was splendid (Tortola, Jost Van Dyke, Virgin Gorda. St. Kitts, Ile des Saintes, St. Barts). The crew were extremely ...

This review covers a cruise on the m/s Tere Moana from December 7-14, 2013. This was a round trip from St. Maarten. Summary: The Tere Moana’s size creates too many compromises to be worth the micro-ship “experience”. The bottom line is that despite predominantly sunny skies, there was sufficient swell in the eastern Caribbean to provide an uncomfortable ride and make a shambles of the itinerary. ...

This review is meant to be critical with a purpose. I hope that PG cruises make the appropriate changes so that you get what you paid for, that I can return on a different itinerary and that they succeed as a company. To qualify my review I have sailed on 5 cruises including the large mass floating buffet line ships. I have also sailed on the Paul Gauguin in 2011 to French Polynesia on the 14 day ...

1. The staff and crew provide a much better product than the one described in several posts on cruisecritic.com in January and February of 2013. The reviews from that time are relatively negative and I almost cancelled my trip after reading them. In retrospect, they reflect typical problems in shakedown cruises for a new vessel sailing for a new company in a new area of travel. Many of the ...

After leaving my heart in Tahiti with the Paul Gauguin and its crew, I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of the new PG ship, the Tere Moana. Although so many reviews deemed it the "Terrible Moana", I was confident that DH and I could have a ball on any boat, especially in the Caribbean. So, here we go. --Embarkation. The port in Galisbay, St. Martin is a bit third world. If you've been ...

I don't usually post on cruise reviews but I felt that I had to voice my disappointment on this cruise. For having been on the MS Paul Gauguin in the French Polynesian islands, the Tere Moana does not support the comparison. The only reason we took this cruise was to see the Panama Canal. We were expecting to see it during day time. The canal pilot came on board around 7h. PM. Most people were ...
