I travelled as a solo woman in her mid 40’s. I chose this cruise as it wasn’t much more expensive than booking a land based holiday, the comparing solo supplements etc.
I flew in on the Saturday with Tui, but it was on an airplane ran by Titan airways, so P&O contracted to TUI who contracted out again to Titan. Made the thank you announcements quite long!
Flight was comfortable and plane ...
We had previously sailed on Azura in 2010 when she was brand new and after 14 years there was quite a difference in the state of the ship. That said she was clean and the staff were always around cleaning and polishing.
Our cabin was clean and functional although the lack of USB points was an issue as we could only plug our devices in where the kettle was situated above the fridge.
We didn't ...
I thought the ship was wonderful.however the entertainment on board left a sour taste in my mouth, they have their own onboard busker, who was rubbish to be fair, Frankie was a good singer, but the Triptonic group i was not impressed with. Our Cabin was outside with a window which i was impressed with, as the size is decent as well, and the walk in wardrobe was a great idea, all ships should have ...
Booked a balcony cabin for a trip around the Canaries and up to Madeira fly cruise reasonably well organised.
The balcony cabin was spacious, but sadly showing its age over the seven days. The steward Teo was excellent keeping the cabin immaculate.
The buffet fared much better food was hot and plentiful with courteous and pleasant staff, but at times it was the rugby scrum. We were ...
This was my second Azura Cruise this year, and it was a definite improvement on the first. Reception stated the ship was at capacity on the day we set sail. My review is based on the ship and staff, your cruise is also impacted by the other passengers on board with you, which during my cruise were sadly quite rude and this did impact things like shows where they were leaving the theatre before ...
We had an excellent time aboard NCL Sun boarding in Tenerife and cruising to Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Agadir, Casablanca, Ceuta, Malaga, Cadiz & ending in Lisbon.
Having sailed on NCL Sun in 2017 in South America, we decided to sail again this year when a great deal & itinerary came up. We booked the whole package with NCL including flights and transfers.
Everything went smoothly from start ...
This cruise fitted in with my work holidays and my childs school holidays - it was a decent price, as it included the flights - shame they where from Birmingham, as Manchester would have been better.
There was 3 cabins booked - we had linked all 3 of the bookings - but sadly on NYE the first night only 2 of the cabins where at the same table for dinner - and this was at 5.30pm - when we only ...
BACKGROUND: This was my first post-Covid trip on Hapag Lloyd's small luxury ship the MS Europa. I had sailed on her several times pre-Covid (last time was September 2019) and had very much enjoyed the seamless service and excellent food (both international and German).
The main reason for my booking this particular trip (booked almost three years ago), was for the annual classical music Ocean ...
My wife and I have sailed on MSC Fantasia and MSC Splendida which are the biggest ships flying the MSC flag and decided at Easter15 to have a week in Santa Cruz, Tenerife and a weeks cruise on the newly refurbished MSC Armonia sailing the Canaries and up to Casablanca.
Looking at other reviews there is a real mixed bag of good and bad re MSC.
We had fantastic cruises on Fantasia and ...
DH and I are just back from 7 nights on MSC Armonia around the Canary Isles.
We had a very enjoyable cruise and would sail MSC again although not such a small ship as we prefer larger vessels, but this is a personal choice and not a criticism of the Armonia.
Embarkation was different from the norm, but it worked and we were on the ship about 2 hours after landing at Tenerife airport , including ...
