Had great food on this cruise and the entertainment was first class too. Shame about the cleanliness. Had to call the domestic staff in to address the issue and still fell short of acceptable. I have been with marella a few times. Never glamorous but used to be functional and efficient. Not now. We booked this cruise to the Canaries/Spain/Gibraltar and Madeira relatively last minute and paid the extra to get a Penthouse Suite at the front of the ship which came with additional perks.
