We love long cruises with lots of sea days and this cruise did not disappoint. We sailed from Tampa Bay to Amsterdam, seeing ports that we had yet to visit. The 8 sea days to begin the cruise were a wonderful way to really relax and kick off our month long vacation. We have sailed a lot on RCI, have attained Diamond Plus status, and really do like the Radiance Class ships in Royal's fleet. ...

This was our third crossing and thoroughly enjoyed the Royal Caribbean Brilliance of the Sea conveniences as well as the fantastic attitude of the ship's staff. We sailed form Tampa to Ireland and Belgium and ended in Amsterdam. We stayed on the ship back to back on the Baltic cruise visiting Denmark, Sweden, Estonia, Finland, Russia and Amsterdam. We had a wonderful time on board of The Brilliance of the Seas, crossing the Atlantic Ocean from Tampa to Amsterdam. Our cabin was really nice and more spacious as we would have thought and was kept tiptop by the crew. Originally we chose this cruise because of a crew member who was trying to get on it. He didn't... but we were booked. The plan was to disembark in Amsterdam, spend 17 days on the ground and sail back on Mariner of the Seas on May 7th. She was heading to drydock but the leg was canceled and she went to drydock early.

It was a great time. All the staff where so nice. We love the size of this ship. Easy to get to know everyone. We where in cabin 9050 which said it had a 25% obstruction from a window cleaning ladder.It was not bad and did not obstruct our view too much.But the divider between cabins had a big gap so we could see the people next to us if they where on their balcony. First of all a transatlantic cruise is the way to go if you love cruising! The Jade was recently refurbished and it is lovely.The entertainment on the ship, especially the Element show was fantastic ! Firstly, we chose this cruise mainly for rest and "landed" in the UK without the dreaded jetlag! We stayed in the Westin, very close to the port pre-cruise and had a complimentary van transfer which took less than 5 minutes...$20 tip shared between hotel bell-boy and driver for this excellent courtesy.

This was my husband and my first TA cruise and first NCL Cruise. Love this ship and NCL. I will say 6days at sea is a lot. The age demagraphics was quite different than we expected we are in our mid 40s and the average age on this cruise was much older.

This was one of our choices for choice of cruise to spend our honeymoon and we are very happy that we did. The ship as itself is beautiful and had just been refurbished. The staff work extremely hard to keep the whole ship extremely clean and well kept. Our room steward Alvin kept us not wanting for anything. He was excellent at his job. We spent 4 weeks in the USA and choose the relaxing way to get back home. Upon arrival in Europe, we have done away with the time difference and are ready for the everyday life. This was already the 6th time we came home by cruise after our stay in the US and it was definately not the last time.
