Great way to spend Thanksgiving! The snorkeling in Roatan was the best we have ever experienced. Chose the Norwegian snorkelng trip and it was excellent. We had beginners and experienced snorkelers in our family and the crew made sure everyone had a fabulous time. Main dining rooms were adequate but nothing special. The specialty dining venues were great...spent most of our meals in one of ...

I'm 49 years old and I'd never been on a cruise until I went on the Norwegian Sun cruise to the eastern Caribbean. The entire process from getting to the dock to boarding the ship to getting to our destinations was fantastic. Our cabin steward, Doc, was great. He made sure that we had everything we needed and our cabin was made up daily. The on-board entertainment was a lot of fun. The cruise ...

Just back from a great cruise out of Tampa on NCL Sun. Cruise was 4-5 / 4-12-15. Group was three middle 50’s (Myself, DW and my sister) and one 23 year old our DD. Following is a summary of our trip with a few opinions. Sunday – 4-5-15 - Arrived at terminal around 11:30, dropped off family and luggage then parked at park4cruise. $60 for the week is ½ of the terminal parking and an easy walk ...

Sailing on the Norwegian Sun was a truly extraordinary experience! There's really no comparison to other cruise lines like Carnival or Royal Caribbean. Norwegian is insanely superior: it's the difference between kinda-having-fun-on-a-boat and being treated like royalty 24/7. The boat itself is small and intimate (which means a larger staff-to-guest-ratio), it's beautiful, there's great ...

We cruised on the Sun to Belize, Roatan, Costa Maya and Cozumel. The service was fantastic in every restaurant and venue. Our room was great and our steward was a very nice attentive man named Danilo. We tried most of the restaurants and would recommend them ALL! We actually BOUGHT the dining package and found it to be definitely worth the $119 per person - two nights at Cagney's and two ...

Enjoyed a very relaxing week aboard the NCL Sun. It was the first time in a few years that we were on a smaller ship.....it was a nice change. Embarking was easy. Our rooms were ready in a very timely fashion. We had breakfast every morning and a couple of lunch times in the dining room .....good menus and good service. Since we had the dining package we did not use the general dining room for ...

The cruise was phenomenal. As a first time cruise, this cruise line left me with a great feeling of satisfaction and pleasure. I would definitely sail with them again. The entertainments were family friendly. The food was great. I had the unlimited dining package and it was really exciting eating at the specialty restaurants. My favorite was Le Bistro. Loved the green tea ice cream at teppanyaki. ...

This was our second NCL cruise and our fourth cruising the Western Caribbean. Overall the cruise was fantastic. The Sun is a nice size ship that is easy to get around. There are a lot of nice, quiet public spaces to sit and relax. The music on board was a highlight. We enjoyed the steel drum by the pool, the guitar player, and piano player each day. We ate in a specialty restaurant every ...
