Great way to spend Thanksgiving! The snorkeling in Roatan was the best we have ever experienced. Chose the Norwegian snorkelng trip and it was excellent. We had beginners and experienced snorkelers in our family and the crew made sure everyone had a fabulous time. Main dining rooms were adequate but nothing special. The specialty dining venues were great...spent most of our meals in one of ...

Recent cruise on the Sun was overall good. The food was okay with it being to spicy and not much of a change daily. We ate in the buffet everyday. The excursions were good except for Costa Maya. After a long bus ride got to the site and the the place was run down, drinks were not good and beach was disappointing. The ship itself was good but needing updating very soon. ...

Skeptical at First but Convinced Now

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Sun

I'm used to all inclusive vacations so was very skeptical about cruising. This was my first cruise so didn't really know what to expect and was afraid of getting bored and the hidden cost. Check in was as expected, some lines but it really didn't take too long. We took our 2 bottles of wine and were charged the expected "corking fee" of 15$ per bottle but found other couples who took several ...

BACKGROUND: My wife and I are both retired and have cruised Princess & Carnival multiple times (Platinum level). We’ve cruised with NCL before and decided to do a B2B with RC Brilliance OTS since it also sails from Tampa. Since I spent 5 years as a teacher, I decided to give letter grades for each component I reviewed. ARRIVAL + TAMPA: We booked our Jet Blue flight from Central New York ...

This cruise is the top of the line when it comes to service= 5star for sure. I liked the emphasis on serving its customer as opposed to pushing their products. Wow what a relief. Made the cruise much more pleasureable. These folks are super friendly and really go out of their way to suit your needs. These folks genuinely care. Family experience! Entertainment was stellar. Laughed my butt off at ...

We recently took the seven day cruise out of Tampa to the Western Caribbean. The food was great. The ports were good. The entertainment was good. The cabin size was good. And the interior cabins have plenty of room for 2 people. The service personnel were great people and very friendly. Middle management... not so much. We had a bit of trouble with the room. There was a leak ...

Staff was great Cabins where clean and nice Common area where also nice Drink package definitely worth it - buy it FOOD - HORRIBLE I am cruise many of other cruise ships and every time I get off the boat I am almost 10 pounds higher in weight. So thinking about it you might want to consider this cruise if you are on a diet because you will eat the first two days and the other 5 ...

I'm 49 years old and I'd never been on a cruise until I went on the Norwegian Sun cruise to the eastern Caribbean. The entire process from getting to the dock to boarding the ship to getting to our destinations was fantastic. Our cabin steward, Doc, was great. He made sure that we had everything we needed and our cabin was made up daily. The on-board entertainment was a lot of fun. The cruise ...
