Mother & Daughter First-Timers

Recommended by a travel agent. Since this is the first time cruising for me, I had to trust his judgement. He misled me my telling me I/we were part of a special group from my area, and found that we were not. He failed to credit me for the cabin credits, and while I called the travel office, I was told that "sometimes it takes several days". That phone call was prior to disembarcment. On ...

negative for the nickel & dime from NCL. and ignorance from some of the guest services people. cruise director and our room steward were great. spa sucked.horrible experience from a drunk guy that ruined a romantic dinner & staff was only going to buy us a drink to make up for it. our room and most of the area in the remote general vicinity of the casino (even 3 decks above) reeked of cigarettes. ...

My first and probably last NCL Cruise

We chose this cruise because it was convenient, worked out with our schedule, and was comparable in cost. We decided to try NCL because we do not like Carnival and wanted to try something other than Royal Caribbean (our favorite). We never met our cabin steward until the 2nd day. He never turned down our bed on the first night. Our cabin was not attended until after 10AM and then not until ...

We chose this cruise for a 3 generation event - daughter, mom, grandmother. What a fabulous time! The ship was beautiful - understand that it has just be refurbished and everything felt fresh! - Cabin - we had cabin 11614. The balcony was wonderful! And the room was perfect for three adults. LOTS of closet, drawer and cabinet space. We brought an extra twin-size foam pad for the pullout ...

Fun Cruise - Not the Greatest Though

My wife and I booked this cruise for our honeymoon which we planned to do 6 months after we were married. We booked this itinerary mainly because the prices were reasonable and I had not done a Western Caribbean cruise before. I am giving this cruise a 3-Star rating because I feel that should be the minimum expectation for an experience on any cruise ship. Although we had fun and overall, a ...

Love the NCL staff on every NCL ship I have traveled on. The Jade was fabulous and the trip was perfect. We love NCL. The stay at Cozmel then Costa Maya had so much to see, don't miss the Mayan ruines on these stops. Harvest Kaye was a delight and beautiful. Many things to do on all islands incl Honduras. We have cruised many times, but always prefer and enjoyed NCL cruises the best. ...

While everything on our trip was just fine there wasn't anything that made us feel special or say, "wow." All areas of the ship were clean and the staff was polite and smiley. My 9 year old enjoyed the kids program and I liked how they had the kids put on a little circus show. She also made good use of the library and read through several of their books. We would have liked longer check out ...

Great trip, great people, nice ship, but musical entertainment not so good...

Booked back to back cruises on the Jade out of Tampa. First leg Western Caribbean, second Transatlantic to the UK. Nice ship that was easy to get about. Pool area was excellent and space always available. Cabins were good, staff throughout the ship friendly and first class. Food perhaps the best we've had on NCL (we dined mainly in speciality restaurants but free options also very good). The ...

My friend and I shared adjoining rooms on this cruise out of Tampa. It was our fifth time on the Jade. We had fun and we’ll book her again. Here are some of my specific thoughts: Hits Drydock Decor. Along with adding art throughout the ship, the recent renovations in Freeport finally removed the outdated Pacific staircase decor in favor of attractive new browns and greys. Latitude ...
