NCL GOUGES PASSENGERS. NO REASON TO "FEEL FREE" ON NCL

Review for Norwegian Dawn to Caribbean - Southern

NCL used to be a very friendly cruise line with great guest services. However, during our most recent two cruises with NCL (one before and one after the Covid-19 lockdowns and restrictions), they have shown they know how to ruin a cruise. This southern Caribbean cruise, our third recent cruise, is no exception, just a significant number of frustrations, disappointments, broken promises that add up ...

It all started when I made reservations with an NCL AGENT for an 11 day cruise in southern Caribbean because we wanted to see St Lucia. . The agent told us that the Norwegian Dawn was a small ship but was remodelled ad looked really nice! He told us the cabin was going to be deluxe and great location ! This info stirred me sexy from getting a balcony cabin.he did not book our cabin but waited for ...

I was interested in seeing the southern Caribbean, had done Western several times. I liked to cruise with NCL until this cruise, it had always been my favorite. Embarkation was a form of torture. Had I not booked hotel and transfer, it would have been fine, but with all the buses arriving together it took over an hour just to get in the building from the bus parking lot. The Dawn was ...

We have just returned from our first cruise on Norwegian cruise lines (Norwegian Dawn). We have previously cruised on Carnival and Princess. We had heard so much and read so many reviews on Norwegian good ad bad about food and entertainment we were skeptical but were willing to find out. Now that we have I can now report back. 1. Food (B+) We found contrary to some reviews the food was quite ...

Repositioning Relaxation

My husband and I a big fans of repositioning cruising. The longer length gives much more time to really unwind and the more numerous sea days are the best. It is especially wonderful returning to your homeport and not having to face a final day of airport stress. This was a rare vacation that was focused on relaxation and doing it "freestyle." We made few plans, booked no shore excursions, and ...

We left the port in Tampa on April 21. Embarkation was easy, efficient, and very pleasant. Everyone we came in contact with was so friendly and helpful. By 2:00 p.m. we were having cocktails and lunch on the pool deck. It was one of the very few cloudy days on our trip. The Dawn is an older ship and although it is well maintained, it could use a face lift in a few areas, mostly on the pool ...

We arrived for embarkation on the Dawn around 1:30 - couldn't have been easier, two of us are latitudes members, and we breezed through, with a very friendly employee, telling the non cruiser how much fun she would have! We went directly to our state room on Deck 9 with a balcony. The itinerary was perfect. I loved how there were six sea days that really enabled you to enjoy what the ship ...
