The ship older but very well kept. I've read reviews on the contrary . I don't agree. We thought it was very clean. the attendants in all areas were exceptional.
The shows we saw were good but i think younger audience may be disappointed in some of them. Husband loves the shows so he was happy .
Buffet was so great we only went to dinning room 1 time it was good as well.
the stateroom was ...
We chose this cruise as a way to go Europe. We thought it might be a relaxing way to start a 5 week trip. It did the job, although personally, we have decided that the TA cruise is better coming home than going to.
The checkin in Tampa seemed to be problematic - despite timed entry, we waited a long time outside in line. Thank goodness the weather cooperated, or it could have been a bad ...
This was our first cruise on Royal Caribbean--having been on Holland America (3-star Mariners), NCL, Celebrity and Carnival. We liked the itinerary and the timing was right for us. We booked 21 nights which was sold as part of a package, but turned out to be basically two cruises, back to back: A TransAtlantic out of Tampa, and then a week in the Mediterranean ending up in Venice. Another recent ...
We chose this cruise because of the great cost! It was our first transatlantic cruise with 7 other people. The ship had it's 20th birthday while traveling, party was entertaining. The ship is older and smaller than the new ships. It was kept very clean, I viewed many staff members shining brass during the wee hours of the night. The cabin was a little small for 3 people but kept clean. I would ...
Cheap way to get to Europe, sea view cabin on deck 3, $625 each + gratuities.
Smaller boat, mostly older passengers (50+), very few children (which was just as well, since the RotS doesn't have a lot to offer for younger passengers!).
Food was good in all restaurants. The anytime dinning service was exceptionally good once we settled into the same section/time every night. The serving ...
To make our trip to Europe. We did meet many People and made some friends.
We also enjoyed the Nightly Entertainment, which was very good.
I'm sorry to say that the Dinner menu was not what it used to be, like on our trips before this one. I have to say that the Bar drinks went up a lot since I was Cruising in Mach 2017, there are now $ 12.00 a drink. Also we took a land tour in Cartagena ...
We use transatlantic cruises as relaxing, cost-effective transportation to Europe. We prefer a ship this size - large enough to feel there are plenty of places to go and things to do, but small enough that you get to know the staff and meet more people.
Our inside cabin was small, as expected, but the furniture placement was awkward. We asked for two of our larger suitcases, which wouldn't ...
4th time on Brilliance. Solarium is still awesome..... The Centrum was much more fully utilized than previously..... without the Promenade, this use of the Centrum worked well.
Windjammer was top-notch.... No better casual dining at sea now... and chefs were willing to do anything and everything to please... really extraordinary....
I use my cabin very little so the dated appearance was not ...
This was a last minute decision that provided a super bargain. The ship was great and we had great service on this repositioning cruise. The entertainment was fabulous. There were plenty of opportunities to get involved. Good shore excursion options. The ship stopped at good ports of call.
The only negative for this trip was the quality of the food. We travel because of the need for ...
Just finished the 14-Night Crossing of the Atlantic on Brilliance of The Seas. Had a wonderful time on a great ship. The Brilliance just won "ship of the year" with Royal Caribbean and you can see why. The ship felt spacious and not crowded although it was full with 2050 passengers in double occupancy. (Not a lot of triples and quads on this type of sailing), so not maximum capacity. Voyage was ...
