Our 15-day transatlantic cruise on the Celebrity Constellation from April 17 to May 2, 2023, was absolutely wonderful. We have been on about seven transoceanic sailings and maybe thirty total cruises on RCL, NCL, MSC, Holland, and Carnival. This is our sixth cruise since the industry opened up after the height of the pandemic.
Preparation: We booked an inside cabin with a fantastic RT airfare ...
Long time cruiser that has always wanted and looked forward to doing a transatlantic (TA) but with kids at home and in school the spring/fall sailings never worked for us. Fast forward to 2022.. both kids away at college so good opportunity to finally get to go on that first TA. However, with two kids in college we needed to find a deal to fit our budget. Even at a year out we found several ...
This was our first trans-Atlantic cruise so we were very excited and a little nervous. We enjoyed every minute of the trip! The staff was attentive and very friendly. The food was way above average. The fellow passengers were lovely people. And most important, the seas were calm throughout the journey! As vast majority of our fellow travelers were seasoned cruisers and I heard that about 80% had ...
We like transatlantic cruises. This was one of the finest. We made new friends, and fully relaxed with the activities provided. We especially enjoyed Charlotte and her watercolor classes, and the lectures on medicine. Cigar/cigarette smoke is highly offensive to me, and gives me migraines, and yet the casino was one of the freshest we ever experienced, as we occasionally passed through it. I did ...
We did the trans Atlantic crossing. the ship was quite, not a lot of children on it maybe because it was a 14 night cruise and not school holidays in the USA. Meet some fantastic people on this cruise. the staff were wonderful and helpful in many ways. We are diamond member with crown and anchor, so spend some time in the diamond lounge, JJ was a very good host and a very pleasant lady. the ship ...
We chose this cruise because it provided a way to get to Europe fairly economically when you consider all room and board and good food and entertainment and excellent childcare and programs included! We got to see many beautiful places on our cruise and had the option of taking paid for excursions or venturing out on our own. Excellent staff and service! We didn't want for anything! All of ...
We choose this for the various ports of call being offered each week staring with the transatlantic sailing through the 5/27 sailing.
Our first cabin was a balcony, 7142, for the first 2 weeks which was fine. No complaints at all. We had smooth sailing across the Atlantic. We moved to a large outside for the next 3 sailings because we figured we wouldn't be out on the balcony often due to ...
Overview
A fantastic vacation! We love the smaller ships and this one did not disappoint. They have a very friendly staff in all parts of the ship. The food was very good the entertainment was mostly excellent. We booked the Vision for a TA next year, so that says something I guess.
Embarkation
A snap. Tampa is a great port. The Diamond line seemed longer than the regular line, but not ...
We´ve been nearby Tampa for holiday and used the cruise to travel back home instead of an exhausting flight. And.... we love cruises :o) So, the trip with the Rhapsody of the seas came just in time and we enjoined every single day. We enjoined very much the shows and the entertainment events that happened every evening! The daily Diner was great too and the service of both Clarissa and Myra with ...
First time cruise because spouse did not want to fly. The Rhapsody is the right size ship. Captain took a course avoiding rough water. Worst movement was no different than flying in turbulence. Really enjoyed talking to all the different crew members. Appreciated the First Officers two meeting wit veterans. My wife and I had a nice conversation Mr Lena. We also like the Parade of Nations by the ...
