We've been on the Grandeur years ago. I understand it was due to be retired, but saved at the last minute. Please! Retire! It shows it's age everywhere right down to the shower curtains which leak everywhere. As with most lines, service and food keep declining in the name of profits. If you sell to the trailer park boys, surprise, they're gonna book. The 350+ pounders were in abundance, ...

Small, very clean, comfortable ship, you feel connected to the ocean. Weekend, value-priced cruise attracted all types. Musicians were outstanding. Food quality has declined since January when I sailed this ship, going to the main dining room has lost its excitement. Service and attitude were very good. Suite benefits were very helpful. The lounge itself is a plush escape and ...

The ship itself is very well maintained and there are only cosmetic touchups. The staff as ALWAYS were great, excellent service throughout the ship. Yes, my biggest complaint was my fellow passengers! I gave up watching the nightly music entertainment when well after midnight there were several unattended toddlers roaming around the stage floor every night. Rude, loud whistling, shouting audience. ...

We chose this cruise ship because we wanted to sail out of Tampa. Entering the port was very easy walking on the ship we didn’t notice much besides, it was a much smaller ship then we prefer. Then the horror starts we get to our room and realize AC does not work. Temperature outside was 101°. We also noticed the room was not well-maintained was the room number one of there Jr. Suites. We told our ...

We really enjoyed our cruise. Day one was little choppy for the first 24 hrs. Island visits were great. Coco Cay was great day. A variety of things to do for old and young. We had not been to Nasau in 30 yrs. We still could have done without it though it was great to see the improvements. It was a great visit and found the Security was very helpful in assuring that we did not waste time in that ...

We choose this cruise for the destinations but where very happy with our experience on the boat. We bought the dinning package but wished we had not. You would think that a bone in ribye at a specialty restaurant on a cruise would be excellent. It is comparable to waffle house steak. Izumi was the only food we had on the boat that I would eat again. They really need to make improvements to the app ...

The Grandeur of the Seas is by far the worse ship I’ve ever been on by FAR. It was rumored that this ship was going to be retired a few years ago and it should have. I am not sure what sparked the decision to keep it floating and running trips—especially a 7 day cruise, but that was by far the worse decision you could’ve made from a customer perspective. The entire ship is old and raggedy, ...

My first RCI Cruise was on the Grandeur of the Seas, After being on the Mariner(11/22) Wonder (3/23)I decided to go small & go back to one of my favorite ships. The service was excellent both in the Windjammer & MDR Deck 5. Entertainment was good & viewed 2 movies 80 for Brady & my name is OTTO. The ship while older still shines & it is refreshing to have a smaller ship to Navigate ...

While planning our first European Cruise for this summer, to celebrate our 25th Anniversary, the long Buffalo winter, along with the desire to be Diamond members of the Crown and Anchor Society for that special cruise, was all the incentive we needed to add in a short and relatively inexpensive getaway during my Spring Vacation. A five day escape on the Grandeur of the Seas fit the bill. During ...
