Carnival Miracle February 2019

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Miracle

I heard the Carnival Miracle has the most elbow room on all the ships, its true, it seemed to have a lot less people all over the ship, the food and waiters / waitresses were phenomenal in the MDR, the buffet was very good for breakfast, lunch and snacks, pizza pirate never disappointed, steakhouse was worth the $35, I reserved a table for us before the price increase, Chopsticks was a tasty ...

Disappointing

We chose this cruise because it sailed from Tampa and was less expensive than other cruises for this time and itinerary. However it was a very disappointing cruise in many ways. It started in the terminal. Everything was so disorganized. Passengers were going every which way. Then the computers went down which slowed the progress even more. We dined a few nights in the Bacchus formal ...

What a Great Ship and Crew...

We have cruised 35+ times and enjoyed this trip as one of our best.. First, we love cruising out of Tampa. We really enjoy their valet parking. We wish other ports adopted this, it would hurt the "Off Site" parking. The cabin (and extended balcony) were very comfortable and Ray kept it clean and well stocked.. The first "sea day" we had, just for a moment, a rainbow that appeared to end in the ...

Great itinerary, adequate ship, terrible food

I chose this ship and itinerary for three main reasons - it was over our wedding anniversary, it sailed out of our home port of Tampa, and it stopped in Belize City. I want to start and end the review on a positive note, so I'll begin with our favorite bartender - Jakub. Jakub worked the bar at Nick & Nora's, was very passionate about his job, and obviously cared about our experience as ...

One of my favorite cruises

Pre-cruise: We flew in the day before and stayed at the Courtyard Tampa downtown. Our stay was excellent and I would highly recommend. Embarkation was quick and painless. We had 11:30 to 12:00 check in time. We arrived right about 11:30 and were onboard shortly after noon. We didn't have to even sit in the terminal to wait. The Miracle isn't the newest ship with all the latest things. That ...

We joined a group with common interests for a 6-day Western Caribbean Cruise. I usually cruise with other lines and never in the Caribbean but made the journey because of the group and the chance to escape winter weather in January. We found the ship in fairly good shape—older and smaller than many, though I like the smaller ships. We found getting around a bit confusing with little direction, ...

This was a group cruise for an international group onboard on Jan. 20, 2019 sailing out of Tampa. Embarkation was very fast and easy. Really enjoyed cruise with couple exceptions. Dining room late seating, service was very slow, and after 35 cruises, when ordered more than 1 entree or appetizer, Have never had them deliver all the appetizers or entrees at same time. Made for a very crowded table, ...

Long overdue cruise

I picked this cruise as an alternative to Port Canaveral--which we've sailed from before, and it was within a 2 hour drive from family so we were able to incorporate a family visit with our cruise. Embarkation was smooth. While we had suite accommodations, the line for those with standard cabins wasn't long. We were on board quickly and headed to Lido for lunch. The Ocean Suite was a very ...

This ship was worse than sailing in a row boat. We were mid ship on the 6th floor in a suite and all day and night this ship shook and tugged in the water like it had a bad engine. The room steward had several rooms to take care of. This may be the reason for frowning when we said we wanted our room cleaned twice a day. It was very never completely cleaned or dusted. The food in the ...

Dirty windows

Service in restaurants, bar, activities, was excellent. Our head waiter, Dejan, and his team of Anselmo and Hamid were courteous, efficient and entertaining. Table #360 Crew was always helpful and polite. I was acknowledged by the crew except by the ones in white shirts! I think it’s a case of, do as I say, not as I do. The windows on the ship were filthy, so my ocean view wasnt enjoyable. ...
