Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Carnival Legend

We went on this Cruise because it was the itinerary we wanted for the Panama canal but we will never go on carnival again! We will be sticking to Royal Caribbean. The shore excursions were great but pretty much anything having to do with onboard sucked! The shows were so loud I couldn't stay for any of them, the food was not good, I ordered breakfast to my room every morning with extra cereal ...

We traveled with a large group of family/friends on the Carnival Legend in June 2012. There were several experienced cruisers in our group who were experiencing the Legend for the first time, and much of what I am going to write here was influenced by their comparisons to other cruise ships or cruise lines. As first time cruisers, my husband, 11-year-old daughter, and I were very excited to ...

Overall, I'd say the Carnival Legend 7 day out of Tampa is a great trip for the money. Our family, including dd7, are regular cruisers, and while this was not the best cruise ever, it certainly was well worth it and I would go again on this ship and itinerary without hesitation. We stayed the night before at Hyatt Place, booked on Hotwire for $68, and would stay there again for the price. ...

Just returned from the Christmas Cruise on Carnival Legend today. It is early in the morning (6:30 AM) and my thoughts are fresh. This was our second family Holiday cruise and our sixth overall and the consensus was that we would do it again but we have some criticisms compared to previous cruises. I have two older sons; 23 and 25 and we all stayed in an extended balcony stateroom. It was ...

This was my third year in a row on the Legend. Overall, excellent cruise, great ship, nice itinerary, and mostly good staff. Our group of five consists of all singles 29-34 from Atlanta. I found a new hidden gem in Tampa. We stayed Saturday night at the Tahitian Inn and Spa. $79 for a VERY nice room and this included free parking for all three of our cars for all 8 days as ...

This was my second cruise with Carnival(first was on the Carnival Conquest)-my fiance's second. We arrived in Tampa a day early and spend the night at a hotel. Embarkation was fairly hectic but overall not bad :) Thought that the decor was a little old and tacky. Was had a buffet style lunch and then made our way down to our balcony room. Enjoyed the free samples that were in the ...

Love and Marriage Aboard the Legend

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Legend

Love and Marriage on the Legend Our only daughter, Wendy, was married on 11/22/09 aboard the Legend. I'm also a disabled traveler, so my review will be based on those two factors. She picked the Legend because of its location and the date - she's a teacher and her new husband is a Naval Corpsman, so they didn't have lots of choices. If you're thinking of getting married on a cruise ship, ...
