There were 6 friends on this cruise and we chose it for 1 reason only. The piano bar with Gustavo. We've cruised 2 other times where we had the fun of seeing Gustavo. But this was the first time on Carnival. I was leery, it's an old ship and I was afraid it hadn't aged well. I was very pleasantly surprised.

We enjoy Carnival because it is indeed Fun Ships. This cruise was exceptional. We've been on several Carnival cruises and much bigger ships, but the Paradise (and by extension, the Fantasy-class) still is a lot of fun. It recently got upgraded with Guy's Burger Joint, the Red Frog Rum Bar, and the Blue Iguana Cantina, and some waterslides were added. Let’s start with embarkation, a super smooth process. The second we got to the port everyone was ready and willing to get our bags and help us on up. Security and check in were an absolute breeze, we were on the boat in less than 15 minutes.

Port of Tampa was very easy port to get into and park. We had Priority Boarding went great on the ship and eating lunch in 10 min.
