Gross and unsanitary conditions left me disappointed.
"This was my first cruise and it was a "so-so" experience. I'll start with the GOOD: Embarkation process was easy. I got to the port a couple of hours before the posted "Embarkation Time" and it was easy to get..."Read More

Chose Paradise basically for the locality, close to home. Was very disappointing when boarding, as a first time cruise, had no direction on what to do or go. Buffet food and service was very poor, help had very poor english, hard to understand, moved very slow, very unorganized, many mistakes and food was stale or not cooked right. Servings were very small, long lines that moved slowly, average ...

I chose this cruise to go visit Cuba and Key West with my husband. Carnival has found a way to nickel and dime you even when you pay for all such as drink package. No bartenders except in serenity that were eager to serve you. Anton was awesome and the only one to come back and keep us happy. All other bars you had to go to them and wait! Since they do automatic gratuity you get poor service. Food ...

Let’s start with the positives: The food presented and service for the chef dinner was wonderful. Our dinner service in the Destiny dining room by Jose and Amamaria was wonderful. The performances were excellent. Loved “your cruise-ship Director, Melissa” messages, she was very friendly and informative. Excursion in Cozumel “giving back” to the orphanage was ...

I went on my first cruise, December of 2018, it was the Carnival Paradise out of Tampa. I highly recommend NOT taking this ship for a cruise - service was great, 90% of the crew members were terrific, but the food, OMG, in my opinion it's low quality and not enjoyable to eat, and every meal I felt like we were just herded through the buffet area like cattle. The restaurant was a little better ...

This cruise was a far cry from the service and standards received on other Carnival Cruises. There were a lot of things that were not up to par. My list of things that fell short. 1.) Not sailing day one disappointing (missed going to Grand Cayman) and spent 25 hours in Cozumel 2.) Cruise director seemed absent from most events 3.) Constant sewage smell and backups this was all ...

This cruise was a gift, and it was also the first time I have ever been on a cruise. Ahead of the cruise, I decided to book one excursion and also purchase the internet plan. The cabin was quite clean, and I chose to have the room cleaned twice a day. I was glad I did this, because I spent the majority of the cruise in my room. The first afternoon of the cruise, a family with multiple ...

I honestly don't know how this ship has a 3.5 star overall review. It's easily the worst cruise experience I've ever had, even scaling down expectations based on the low price. In short, I'd recommend paying $50 to $100 more per passenger to avoid Carnival Paradise and move up to a better cruise. Read on to find out why. To make it a quick read and so you can focus on what you're most ...

My husband and I went on this cruise for our honeymoon . The bathrooms were all very dirty and not big enough for the amount of people on the ship . There was always very long lines . The food was absolutely horrible . It was alright on the first day , but the quality seemed to decrease day by day . The food in the nice dining rooms was even nasty . There is one tiny pool where the adults and ...

This was my first and last cruise. Hurricane Michael made it eventful. Wind and waves came and past our 4th floor window. No communication on the happening with the weather. Stewart never introduced himself, left several notes, never turned down our beds, had to ask for clean blue towels. Beds were fixed daily. One of the main problems we had is our bathroom from day one smelt of urine. They ...

Selected this cruise because of a group of family and friends were going; 18 people in total. I had been on the Carnival Pride in Jan 2017 and was not impressed but since so many people were going I decided to give it another try. I also cruised in Jan 2018 on the NCL Epic and my experience was the complete opposite of my Carnival experience; I loved it! The thing I noticed immediately upon ...
