Tired Old Tub disappointed us

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Carnival Miracle

This was our second cruise on the Miracle. The last one was in 2015. We have been on 13 cruises. 5 cruises with Carnival. Poor maintenance shows all over this rusty old tub. CABIN: We had the beds arranged as two singles and the linens did not match. Some of the pillowcases and sheets were old yellowed and stained. The vanity countertop trim varnish was peeling, chipped, and missing in many ...

A nice cruise, Carnival could have done more

We chose this cruise because we had always wanted to go through the Panama Canal. We only could take two weeks off from work, so this was the cruise we chose. This was a repositioning cruise for the Miracle, but Carnival also billed it as a Panama Canal cruise. PROS: Our stateroom (an obstructed view balcony) was large enough for two people and kept well cleaned and stocked by our ...

Carnival Quality needs to be Reviewed

Used to cruise Carnival all the time. Have cruised other boats in past few years. Will not go back to Carnival again after this experience. This boat needs to be completely redone or drydocked right away. It is dated, it is not maintained. It is dirty, dated and dull. Also, Carnival really missed the boat (pun intended) on the Panama Canal. They had no information leading up to the ...

I was very apprehensive on booking this carnival miracle cruise because of the bad reviews I had read and also I had only cruised with NCL in the past. I had previously been on 2 cruises both on the big ships (breakaway & Epic). I found that I like the smaller ships much better. The miracle was less crowded. It has 3 pools so there was never a problem with chairs. The first morning I got up ...

The itinerary was great. The ship smaller then most. But never crowded. Our cabin was great our cabin steward was wonderful. She always had fresh ice and wine glasses clean cabin and fresh sheets and bathroom immaculate. we booked an interior cabin. nothing fancy but met our needs. carnival is very good at utilizing all space to the customers benefit. This cruise line was chosen by a friend for an all-girls cruise. First, this is an older ship, in dire need of a remodel. The decor was fine, just worn. Our shower was moldy and the faucet at the sink was broken, yet functional. Only one American outlet in the entire cabin. So, bring a multi-port extension or power converter for European voltage. And, there are no power charging stations onboard. ...

Not the Birthday I expected

I choose this cruise based on some prior reviews. I had sailed carnival previously and had a great time before, but I was very disappointed on this cruise. The worst part was my balcony cabin, and the food choices. The entertainment was also pretty bad, especially when you have a Motown review that features no black people. Found this to be very strange and in poor taste. The cast performing ...

Background: This was my 12th cruise on Carnival and my 2nd time on the Miracle. First time was in 2006 and I remember LOVING it back then. This time around was a little different. We originally scheduled our cruise to Cuba. When that got cancelled, we decided to still leave out of Tampa (where we live) and just pick a different itinerary. We got a $100 OBC for doing that. The Miracle came up ...

My daughter and son-in-law did a Carnival Cruise for their honeymoon two years ago in October and loved it so much they wanted us to join them on a Carnival Cruise. Hurricane Darian caused us to have to leave a day early but we had already planned to arrive in Tampa that day and spend the night, so we just drove from NC as planned and boarded with absolutely no problems despite only having birth ...

Seven six day cruise from Tampa - Grand Cayman - Roatan - Beleize - Cozumel - Tampa This rust bucket of a boat shout be taken to the Mariana Trench and scuttled along with the crew. I have never had a more miserable disgusting experience in my entire life. But then again if you want a truly horrible experience with nasty crew, slop for food (brought some home for the dogs - they declined to ...
