Had to cut my earlier review due to time but wanted to take this opportunity to conclude my experiences on the Legend. I left off with the food and although the food was not 5 star quality you must be realistic with yourselves and ask this question. Where can I go and have a 5 star meal morning, day and night for 7 days and not pay out of your @$$ for it? I wanted to end this review on a ...

We took the Carnival Legend out of Tampa for a Western Caribbean cruise in December of 2011. I traveled with my husband and 2 ½ year old son. This is just a brief review of some of our experiences. We have cruised with several lines and hadn't booked with Carnival since 1999 because we really enjoyed Freestyle Cruising on NCL unless there was a specific itinerary we wanted on an alternate line. That said, since March, 2010 until our departure February 27, 2011 we have cruised on Carnival 3 times because of several birthday celebrations. During the past year we've been on the Glory, Triumph ...

What a great experience! We arrived in Tampa after visiting our son and his wife in Norfolk, VA. The transfer to the ship went smoothly and we were boarded within 30 minutes of reaching the pier terminal. Our room was ready by 1:30 and our bags arrived at about the same time. We went up on deck to look around and just to take a quick walk through the ship. This was our second cruise with Carnival ...
