We could hear when kids would stomp around the pool deck on 15 or even run. It was noticeable but tolerable. Nothing at night. The balcony is tucked under the ships decking so we had shade. Neighborhood balconies have no privacy since the other side looks right at you. You will keep the curtains closed. I wouldn't choose these again unless priced well...but if deck 14 was all they had left, I wouldn't choose it at all. I cannot imagine being in Boardwalk room with the basketball right over you. We had an “interior” balcony over Central Park on deck 11, room 11605. Very nice. Balcony caught a lot of sun in the afternoon and when in port, it was too hot to sit out there...but they're cool. Soundproofing works great. AC only works when the balcony door is locked, so keep that in mind. Room was spacious with the bed and a large couch. Had a mini-fridge. Storage was very good (suitcases fit under the bed and it seemed like more closet hanging space that other ships). Bathroom was good. Shower seemed bigger. Looks like they made the sink area smaller to make the shower stall a bit bigger. Only downside was the mirror fogged up when shaving. Otherwise...great! Read Less

The cabin was great. We always book Central Park because of the noise level. If you sail RCCL a lot, ocean view balconies can get pretty boring, when you aren't in port. Central Park has a lot of "people watching" ... Read More

Very clever design makes the room seem spacious. However, there was 15 inches of space between the edge of the bed and the door to the balcony. That is very tight. Bathroom was well designed and user friendly. Bed and bed linens ... Read More

Very nice, well designed cabin. Bathroom was well designed, but basically a large aircraft lavatory with harsh lighting - a more residential feel would be more in line with the rest of the ship's design and feel. Our AC needed to be worked on, and the lack of a privacy sheer on the Central Park cabins is a miss. Overall a quiet, pleasant cabin. Read Less

We were booked into a Central Park Balcony in one of the exclusive double-wide balconies next to the living wall. This cabin was gorgeous! Quaint with still enough space to maneuver without running into each other. We loved having the bed next to the balcony. *The only semi downer was how small the bathroom was. I know that may be subjective to some, but it was tough to move around in there, especially with two people in there. The closet space!! Holy macaroni! We had, what I would consider, 2 full size wardrobes each on the side of the couch. This made it so easy to know we had enough space to unpack and have our clothes hanging without getting all wrinkled up. Since we were on the 5-day preview, we didn't use as much cabin space as I sure some people would use. There were plenty of outlets as well, which made it easy to charge our phones and our Go-Pros all at the same time with different plugs. This balcony was huge. Having that double wide balcony was awesome. It came with table and two chairs, and I would bet if we had asked for it, two loungers could have easily fit there. Another great thing about it, was that because we were on deck 10, we were nice and close to the activity of Central Park. We would people watch as they meandered through, and could catch glimpses of activity down on the Royal Promenade. The overall peacefulness of the scene was very relaxing, but could on rare occasion be noisy if the wind was blowing the right way and if the pool deck music was extra loud. Neither would be noticeable when the door was shut. Read Less
