We selected this cruise initially because of the advertised stop at Papua New Guinea. Otherwise, we had previously visited almost all the other ports. The day before we boarded, we were advised by our travel agent that Regent had canceled the stop at Papua New Guinea. There were 3 or 4 different reasons going around among passengers as to why, although we never learned. The ship was very ...

About 2 years back I developed a desire to sail on the QM2. 50% of my friends who had been on the QM2 loved it and 50% hated it. Because of this I chose a short 7 day cruise from Sydney, Australia down to Tasmania and back to Brisbane, Australia, in February 2017. If it was not good, then I could endure 7 days. Having sailed with P&O before, and previously flying back to UK, as I live in Malaysia, I found this cruise perfect, only 8 hours from Malaysia to Sydney and at the end of the cruise in Singapore, just 1 hour flight home. As usual, the staff, from Reception to Cabin Stewards, Bar Staff and Restaurant staff were fantastic. The Restaurant, Meridian offered a wide choice of menu and catered for ...

The standard of the food was excellent as was the service we received in the Meridaian restaurant. The cabin steward also provided excellent service. What was lacking ? Perhaps the Entertainment team was not ...

Embarkment-a breeze because the times were staggered so no build up. Disembarkment - my 10th cruise, but disembarkment will never be pleasant and smooth it is what it is. cabinc321; plenty of hanging and drawer space for 2 people; suit cases stored under the bed . bathroom is well designed the shower would have been bigger if it had a sliding door instead of a plastic curtain which ...
