Where to start, embarkation excellent, swift fast with great staff. Once on board, got the drinks package, they have changed, they took out bottle water from the packages and increased the price. Not impressed with the changes, bring back the old packages. Dining - Head Waiter Ferit Acikoz - one word outstanding! He made the holiday for us, attention to detail, hard work and they way he ...

A Fantastic, Great Value, Holiday

We cruised on Radiance of the Seas in December and had a fantastic time. I was looking through reviews to get some first time cruising tips so I hope I can pass tips on to others. Rooms - we stayed on level 9 which was lovely and quiet. We had a room with a balcony but didn't feel that it was essential to have a balcony. You do not spend a lot of time in your room and there are great deck ...

Our holiday began one day prior, stayed at the Holiday Inn, The Rocks, Sydney. I was beside myself when I saw my new 'home' from the rooftop pool area the morning we were to embark. We just had a wonderful time onboard the Radiance of the Seas. Embarking was a little cluttered but moved through fairly quickly and was on board within the hour. Spent the first few days exploring the ship ...

We decided to try a seven day cruise to see if we liked it. Well that was an understatement, we LOVED it! Radiance of the Seas is magnificent and their customer service second to none. From embarking, being catered for and entertained on board...I couldn't fault our voyage. Our room attendant was charming and we loved the animals fashioned out of towels left in our rooms. There is something ...

Initially I was worried about cruising as I am not good on boats but we have so many friends who love cruising we thought we would have our honeymoon on the Radiance of the Seas and see what all the fuss was about. Well now we know! We stayed on Deck 8 in a deluxe balcony suite. It was clean and enough space for the both of us. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony for some quiet time. The TV channels ...

This was our third cruise. The Radiance was a very good ship. It was very cosy and still it felt like a big ship. The crew was especially fantastic. Only the food was a not as good as we experienced at our previous cruises, but also this it was still good. Captain Goran was very visible and kind to the crew. It was very clear that the crew had a good time together too. After our cruise many ...

This was our first time cruising so we do not have anything to compare it to, but we are now hooked on cruising and can't wait for our next cruise in December. We travelled by train to Circular Quay and found embarkation easy and quick. Once on board we took in the sight of Sydney Harbour whilst sipping on cocktails. We took advantage of the drinks package and found it to be convenient and good ...

Our family group went on the South Pacific cruise in January 2014 on Radiance of the Seas from Sydney. The ship The food and service were excellent. Lots of choice – the buffet was great, the quality and options in the main dining room excellent and the causal eating options also great. Room service was very good and quick. Have read lots of negative comments about the food but cannot understand ...

Second time on our favourite ship

This cruise took us from Sydney to Newcastle, Hobart and Melbourne. We had previously sailed on her on her inaugural voyage to Australia in 2011 (Hawaii to Sydney). She is a lovely ship and both times we have had aft facing cabins, this time splurging on a junior suite. We had a great time on this cruise. Seas were a little rough for both crossings of Bass Strait but this didn't bother us at all ...
