We booked this cruise over a year ago and wanted to see the natural scenery of New Zealand. Our cruise took us to Milford, Doubtful and Dusky Sound, Dunedin, Akaroa, Auckland and The Bay of Islands. Embarkation and disembarkation was brilliant and each time we did not spend more than 10 mins. We had a grand suite and an excellent suite attendant. Having a Grand suite did have its advantages and ...
My husband and I have cruised about 175 nights with RCL and have also cruised with Celebrity, NCL, Oceania, and Olympia. We chose this cruise because Australia was on our 'bucket list' and we love the RCL Radiance class ships, including the Brilliance and Jewel. We had been to Sydney 2 years ago so we arrived only 1 day before the cruise. Embarkation and disembarkation went very smoothly. ...
Chose this cruise because we had never cruised to Adelaide before. Travelled in a Grand Suite with my wife and adult sister, we also has long time friends on board.
Stayed in Sydney for three days in an apartment at Darling Harbour so no stress with flight times. Had a great time exploring the many attractions on ond off the water, had a great burger at Betty’s Burger near the convention ...

What great cruise, this was my 4th Cruise n Groove and 40 cruises this was one of the best. Wonderful check in, got to my cabin in 20 minutes. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Ship is 16 years old but well maintained, refurbished 2011. This cruise I pre paid or the ultimate dinning and the unlimited drinks packages, well worth getting, great value.
The entertainment was what it ...
I had traveled from the fjords of Norway to the shore of the Dead Sea by car, air, and rapid train, but 2017 was my very first cruise. As a one-time rail pass holder, my vision of traveling was to hop on and off of trains every few days or so. So when friends asked me to join them on their cruise to New Zealand, I wasn't sure what to expect. I wondered if the pace would be too slow or if the food ...
Our last cruise was over 25 years ago, and cruising has certainly changed since then. Everything about this cruise was superbly managed. Embarkation went very smoothly, and we were on the ship relaxing in no time. Hint: if you arrive early you can check your bags in early and then wander around Circular Quay until your allocated embarkation time.
The ship is lovely. Very spacious, lots of ...
We chose this cruise as it fell over our holiday time. I have to say we had a teriffic time and we are already thinking of booking another.
Our cabin was great, we had the biggest window ever! There was plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space. Our room attendant was teriffic - the cain was always clean & tidy.
I'm pleased we had the drinks package - although my liver now needs a decent ...
Radiance of the Seas – Sydney to Hobart 24-31 October 2016
We enjoy doing short local cruises. Always something new to see and no passports or long flights to worry about.
Embarkation – We received an email two days before departure “During Radiance of the Seas’ last sailing, a small number of guests onboard experienced gastrointestinal illness. In an abundance of caution, we are conducting ...
We elected to go back on Radiance as my daughter had extensive surgery this year and needed a break and what better break than on the high seas on our favourite ship.
We always review to keep the RCL reviews current and to help provide tips on what to expect.
Embarkation - Late, not RCL fault Norovirus outbreak. Crew were amazing as were check in staff, explained everything. Embarkation ...
