Queen bed. Note the drawers on the right. They could not open the whole way because they were so close to the bed.

10 Night cruise Sydney to Airlie, Cairns and Moreton Island

Boarding very slow as usual, but same for all ships. Hard to believe they make you tip out your unopened water bottle before you can enter ship. Entertainment - a bit slack really, the ship crew show was probably the best show up until final entertainer Grant Galea whom was excellent. Ship singers and dancers two shows were OK, but male singer voice was not so great. Other late night shows ...

We originally chose this cruise just as a quick cruise to take our grandchild along for some time away, and the price was great. After booking discovered it was The Elvis Tribute Cruise, this made us a bit worried as not Elvis fans, and 13y old grandchild didn't even know who it was. But we were so happy with the entertainment by the Elvis singers and backup bands even our granddaughter ...

I have been on many cruises, however outstanding service on the pacific explorer - from food service, entertainment and housekeeping the explorer was great! A big thanks to Thomas Naulana who did a brilliant job in housekeeping - second to none. I would walk in the room after a clean and was extremely satisfied with this. Not only did he do a great job with this he also helped me with any ...

It was the first cruise after a long pause and after many cancelled bookings we had to be on this one. Our previous cruise was on Ruby Princess in Feb of 2020 so our wait wasn't as long as it was for others but being able to cruise again gave us a sense of freedom that we can now actually resume our lives. The covid rules were obvious and while different didnt take away from the enjoyment of ...

Better than we anticipated

We have cruised with P&O Australia before, with mixed results, so we were a little hesitant about booking this cruise. But the price was outstanding and the OBC too good to refuse. Having just got off the Sun Princess a month before, we were immediately "at home" in our cabin (balcony, deck 11, forward). In fact, on waking up a couple of mornings I had to remind myself were on the Explorer and ...

We needed a break after a very busy year and decided to try a cruise for the first time. Not being sure what to expect, and not being sure if we would enjoy it, we were very pleasantly surprised that there were plenty of places to escape the crowds on the ship, the Pacific Explorer. We are both 60 ish and travelled as a couple without any children. During the cruise (8 nights) we did not feel ...

My wife and I chose this cruise because of it's Mutiny On The Bounty Theme,a chance to follow in the steps of Captain Bligh and visit Norfolk Island with a guest lecturer onboard. It did not disappoint in this regard,Rhonda Griffiths the lecturer was outstanding, add to this the rest of the entertainment put on by P&O and other than Music Cruises we have done, well done P&O. Boarding was late ...

We were offered this cruise at a great price we like the P & O dining arrangements and love the entertainment. The prices of duty free also equaled the best at port which was a real bonus, that left more time for leisure when in port. The service in the dining rooms was excellent as was our room service. The Pacific Explorer has a bowling green on deck 11 and we had a great time there with ...

Nice 3 day cruise with a stop at Eden

To celebrate our 30th anniversary we decided to take a 3 day cruise which fitted in with work and having somebody to keep an eye on our kids while we are away. We had done a comedy cruise earlier in the year and had a great time so when the price and timing was right we booked. Embarkation, From getting to the overseas passenger terminal to sitting in the buffet eating lunch was no more ...

We won this cruise for 2 at Gosford RSL so we started out ahead, included premium drinks package. After reading reviews here I upgraded our cabin from Ocean View Room to a balcony cabin as my wife is a late sleeper and I could sit outside without disturbing her. Cabin was 11068 on deck 11 and I was concerned that we would get noise from the pool deck toilets which were above. As it happened we ...
