We did a back to back cruise on Majestic Princess from 18th January to 10th February 2024. The first cruise was a 13 night cruise and sailed to Pacific Islands of Vanuatu, Fiji & New Caledonia.

We chose this cruise to see Fiji, but bad weather pushed us away from the Fiji islands two days early. Out of three planned days in Fiji, we only were able to see the Suva area and in heavy rain. The cruise made up for it with an extra day at sea and an extra day in New Caledonia.

First cruise on this ship. Internals similar to Sun and Sea Princess but bigger. Takes a while to get from one end to the other, apparently has 3500 passengers in Australia but up to 4500 whilst overseas. This probably explains why ship did not feel busy ( except of course in Princess Theatre-as per usual for Princess Cruises).

The Majestic Princess is certainly large! A cross between a Westfield shopping mall and a casino. Quite difficult to navigate as most of the large open areas have no markings as to what direction is the front of the ship.
