Majestic Princess 11-14 thru 12/7/19 A note, if this review appears to be more critical than one of praise of our back to back voyages on the Majestic Princess it’s because we’re more sensitive to features not pleasing to us. We are optimists and thus expecting all to be wonderful. The Sydney port is one of the easiest ones to use for embarkation, flawlessly run and efficient in allowing ...

Cruised to North Queensland. The ship is beautiful. There are some very classy parts of the ship. The anytime dining was no issue at all and we only had to wait a short time for a table on formal night. The buffet food was not so great. Loved the pizza restaurant. The food was authentic. The biggest issue was disembarking and embarking from the ports (except for Brisbane). It was by tender ...

Wanted to do a NZ cruise. Everything from embarkation to disembarkation was smoothly and professionally done. Well done to every staff member on the beautiful Majestic Princess. The ship is beautifully laid out from comfortable cabins to lovely restaurants. We chose anytime dining which suited us well, the service was faultless, we find the shore excursions promoted by the ship way out of our ...

After feedback from a work colleague my wife & I decided to splash out and go on a cruise. As we loved NZ we decided to g back there and so decided on a 14 day cruise in mid November 2019 on the Maj! IMVHO, dont cruise if you want to see NZ, you only scratch at the surface, It was a relaxing and somewhat slow cruise and you could get off at the various stops and see a bit of the ...

Too big to be Majestic.

The lovely cabin was the highlight of this ship. The Majestic Princess is certainly large! A cross between a Westfield shopping mall and a casino. Quite difficult to navigate as most of the large open areas have no markings as to what direction is the front of the ship. They run red carpet on the starboard side and blue on the port side in the cabin hallways, common sense was obviously not ...

First cruise on this ship. Internals similar to Sun and Sea Princess but bigger. Takes a while to get from one end to the other, apparently has 3500 passengers in Australia but up to 4500 whilst overseas. This probably explains why ship did not feel busy ( except of course in Princess Theatre-as per usual for Princess Cruises). Being set up for overseas it had things that Princess once had in ...

Majestic - good but not great

Having travel princess before we were hoping to get more of the same And while the dinning was great and service excellent - service at other time seemed under staffed. Who wants to get a scone or toast then wait 10 minutes for the jam The highlight of past princess cruise was the entertainment staff - this time the flopped - they just went through the motions and didn’t engage the passenger ...

My wife and I wanted to visit Tassie so we decided to take a cruise there it worked out to be a great choice . Modern ship great decor, service was very good , the ship was at full capacity but never felt crowded . We had a mini suite located deck 14 mid ship.Embarkation and disembarkation was a breeze no hassles.Meal menus and choices in the dinning areas we felt could have been a little better, ...
