What we liked:
1)Spotless ship with obvious attention to detail and a crew focused on cleanliness.
2)Great crew who worked hard to please. Some going out of their way to do so.
3)Above average(in some cases excellent)food. Luminae,Blu,and Murano excellent.
4)Excellent gym, both in size and equipment.

We are Elite with Princess and have never experienced as many problems as we did with this cruise. Embarkation was fine and smooth. We were told the rooms would not be available until 1 pm but we could go and drop stuff off in them. Our Suite was ready but noticed a few things missing. Loyal Princess cruises, wife picked the cruise as she wanted us to snorkel on the Great Barrier Reef, Sadly we didn’t because, A) too expensive, B) Got sick with the Flu as grotty people coughed all over me.
Alcohol prices outrageous, a bottle of Kim Crawford Pinot Noir cost over $50 AUS but you can get it for $16 on-shore.

This was the worst cruise I have ever been on. I lost 4 lbs which tells you about the food. We chose this cruise mainly due to the itinerary, to fall in the middle of a month long trip to Australia.
I do take the responsibility of not considering the amount of sea days vs port days. Four ports on a ten day cruise was too few, with three of the four being tender ports (too many tender ports).

Carnival are now offering alcohol drink packages on Australian cruises. They cost $119.00 per day. DO NOT purchase one. My husband and I purchased one and found that we would have been better off to pay as you go. There was no value in the package, we would of saved ourselves a lot of money without this package. We chose this cruise as it was suitable as our first cruise of the season. We had been on this ship some 5 years before but it is still in very good order. Only our 5th Celebrity cruise but due to our Royal Caribbean history we were given Elite class. Embarkation was quick due to that benefit.
