In many ways it’s difficult to criticise this cruise /ship. The (superior) cabin was a good size, excellent with lots of storage, and bathroom excellent. 5th sailing with Oceania..love the staff, sizes of their ships and the itineraries. We have been on the Nautica and Marina as well. Both very nice ships with equally wonderful staff and service. We selected this cruise initially because of the advertised stop at Papua New Guinea. Otherwise, we had previously visited almost all the other ports. The day before we boarded, we were advised by our travel agent that Regent had canceled the stop at Papua New Guinea. We’d booked this cruise fully a year ago and had toured around Australia with family for two weeks prior. As we’d stayed at the Rendezvous Hotel, The Rocks, the night before the cruise, we only had to roll our suitcases down a hill to reach the cruise terminal. Boarding - Boarded in Sydney, very organized much improved with the improvements we boarded a bit faster with Platinum level but still looked fairly fast for everyone.
Ship is very impressive nice and clean and very spacious. Tip - We hopped on the North star straight away to get the best view of Sydney harbour before the queues began.
