Regent Explorer 19th January 2022 San Diego to Miami via Panama. Review In many ways it’s difficult to criticise this cruise /ship. The (superior) cabin was a good size, excellent with lots of storage, and bathroom excellent. The food was very good particularly the steaks which were the best we have had anywhere. Nothing was too much trouble. Staff were good, particularly the female drinks ...

We have cruised with P&O Australia before, with mixed results, so we were a little hesitant about booking this cruise. But the price was outstanding and the OBC too good to refuse. Having just got off the Sun Princess a month before, we were immediately "at home" in our cabin (balcony, deck 11, forward). In fact, on waking up a couple of mornings I had to remind myself were on the Explorer and ...

5th sailing with Oceania..love the staff, sizes of their ships and the itineraries. We have been on the Nautica and Marina as well. Both very nice ships with equally wonderful staff and service. More specialty restaurants on the Marina because it is a bigger ship. Always find the staff to be responsive to our needs...even to the point of searching for jello for room service when one of us had an ...

3rd Oceania cruise. Chose Australia to have visited six of the seven continents. Was on inside and without request was allowed to board at 11:20 after checking out of hotel. They provide food until room ready just before 3. Food was excellent, but it appeared that presentation was less elaborate than prior cruises. Ports were well chosen for excursions but second half was very hot (around 40 ...

New ship and very very big. Great ship...Ports of call were interesting, should have been longer at Singapore and Vietnam, so much to see and do. Food menu was very disappointing in the Lido bar. Very repetitive and boring. Disappointed with photo deals....no package offered...only digital copies promoted....not good! Ping pong tables were unsuitably positioned, in the wind rain and ...

The ship was just recently renovated and everything was beautiful and clean. The cabin was adequate in size (we had an inside). Dining at the buffet was outstanding. Dining in the restaurants was sometimes not good. Chicken was dry and fish overcooked. The desserts were superb.. The entertainment was varied and good, however the daytime activities such as the lectures were boring and badly ...

VERY NICE, BUT NOT EXCEPTIONAL

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

We selected this cruise initially because of the advertised stop at Papua New Guinea. Otherwise, we had previously visited almost all the other ports. The day before we boarded, we were advised by our travel agent that Regent had canceled the stop at Papua New Guinea. There were 3 or 4 different reasons going around among passengers as to why, although we never learned. The ship was very ...

Relaxing, enjoyable cruise with a few disappointments

We’d booked this cruise fully a year ago and had toured around Australia with family for two weeks prior. As we’d stayed at the Rendezvous Hotel, The Rocks, the night before the cruise, we only had to roll our suitcases down a hill to reach the cruise terminal. Luggage drop-off and check-in were quick and very easy (we had booked a Grand Suite, so check-in was expedited.) Unlike our last ...

Boarding - Boarded in Sydney, very organized much improved with the improvements we boarded a bit faster with Platinum level but still looked fairly fast for everyone. Ship is very impressive nice and clean and very spacious. Tip - We hopped on the North star straight away to get the best view of Sydney harbour before the queues began. Dining - We ate at the Windjammer most times as we lie ...
