We chose this cruise because of the destinations and to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary. We had an amazing time! The ports of call were incredible. We love cruising and enjoyed 23 nights on this Transpacific cruise. The ship size is perfect....love the Promenade. Dream vacation after doing the first leg in 2008. Menus didn't change much in 39 days in the Main Dining Room. Fish was disappointing, bland and mushy. Steaks were poor quality on the Sydney to Honolulu leg , so never tried them again. Specialty dining was excellent in Chops and Sabatini's, but over cooked in Samba. This is a great cruise if you like sea days. It was 24 nights and it crossed the date line and the equator. Suva to Hawaii 7 nights cruising and Hawaii to Seattle 6 nights cruising. Also going east the ship looses time so as to match the destination time. We loose 1 hour every few days and 1 Day when you cross the date line. Better going the other way.

The embarkation got us off to a rough start. As Diamond Plus, we were seated in an "exclusive" area and started boarding right after the suites and pinnacles. The cruise was great being the first time RCCL has a trip that is of this length. The cruise director was Graham and he was fantastic and so was the rest of his team including Andre. The feature dancer couple (Eva & Uros) were fabulous and the free dance lessons were well worth it!
