This was not a Mediterranean Cruise as the lead-in shows. This was the last two segments (39 days) of an Around the World Cruise that started in January. We were on the first segment at the beginning and there were a significant number of changes and cancellations on that cruise along with serious COVID restrictions. We were booked on the original last two segments, Cape Town to New York. Since ...

Destination, ports and season always win out over cruiseline loyalty. 12 days Stockholm to Southampton. 3 days in St. Petersburg was the highlight. Booked 3 day small group tour with Russian agent. Elisabeth of TJ Tours was outstanding! Recommend Nautica overnights in Stockholm Amsterdam and Copenhagen and to include a port in Norway to see the fjords.. Oceania does offer best cuisine at sea. ...

Mediterranea, Magic or mayhem. We have just returned from a 13 night cruise aboard the Costa Meditteranea. We flew with Iberia from Madrid to Stockholm and had a few days in Stockholm before boarding the ship. Below is OUR opinion on the ship and cruise. Embarkation. We arrived at Stockholms Fryhamnen cruise terminal using the metro system from Odenplan, a little after midday. We had ...

We chose this cruise because we have had great experiences on Oceania and liked the itinerary, Stockholm to Barcelona. On this cruise, the crew from the general manager on down was terrific. Attitude was "what can we do for you". Our cabin was perfectly maintained. Our major on board activity is dancing and there was plenty of opportunity everyday with music before and after dinner. The band in ...

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Marina

This was the 12 night cruise from Stockholm to Amsterdam. Three days in St. Petersburg was the highlight of the trip. Staff was extremely helpful, mostly friendly, but somewhat impersonal. This may be for a couple of reasons: 1) the Captain's leadership style, and/or 2) It appeared that many staff members were about to leave for vacation. Many ratings were downgraded because of one or two ...

Stockholm to Istanbul on Vision - for a newbie

We were first-time cruisers and had read much on Cruise Critic, especially about this ship. To be honest we were a little apprehensive due to the many negative points and issues we read. Frankly, I think many of those issues lie with the individuals themselves and not necessarily the staff! I will elucidate later on this point. We chose this cruise due to the many interesting ports from ...
