Wonderful experience overall. Staff were lovely, approachable and present, but discrete. Embarkation / disembarkation was seamless. The cabin was small, the bathroom and shower area very small. Elevators easy to obtain and moving around the ship is easy. You hardly feel there are 650 passengers on board and it is easy to mingle and meet people. We chose to dress up everynight, but dressy casual is sufficient. Loved the open dining policy - it really meant not having to look at a watch! The open wine served (although is limited to a glass) is rarely enforced, very nice wines. Food is amazing and often a hard choice on what to select! Or do as I did and eat 2 desserts every night - the velvety cappuccino is wonderful! We throughly enjoyed the Prime C restaurant. The open pool bar has great hamburgers and tacos and the coffee at the Italian cafe is divine, as well as the afternoon nibbles! The lovely THICK mattress poolside coupled with the warm pool made it hard to leave the pool everyday! HIGHLY recommend this cruise line. A nice size ship, without feeling lost. Facilites and food excellent. Read Less

in general my wife and I cruise at least once a year. Therefor we have experience on many different lines. What we found negative on our last cruise: - in general no or insufficient information was given about the ports of call, specially where the ship eventually would dock exactly and what public transportation there would be available. - organization on the ship many times was poor even to the extend of disregarding rights of the travellers. 4 or 5 days prior to landing in Istanbul passports had to be handed in to the ships authorities leaving many travellers without proper ID documents in many ports. The given explanations, that this was so demanded by Turkish law was long fetched. - there were long waiting-times at times at the information desk - sometimes up to 1 hour. The officers at the desk noticing this did neither work faster or ask for addition support of their back-office. - security was overdone, e.g. double checking and double screening luggage again when port authorities already had checked at certain ports of call. Not all people at security were friendly. - food served certainly had fancy names, but taste and quality in the main restaurant mostly was medium to poor. The only real good and obviously fresh, crispy food was the bread and rolls - and to a little part the desserts. - the cafeteria after lunch many times looked like a battle field with food on the carpets, sticky hall ways and many times food reminders even on the chairs. Waiters some times just would wipe the reminders of food to the floor. In general however the service was polite and hard working. - at time s when bands were not playing music on the pool area was too loud Everything else was the usual (high) standard of cruising ships.
