We have sailed NCL many times and our expectations are low. However this cruise made low expectations even worse. To give some of the highlights:

The itinerary is tempting and each location has plenty to see. However, do it with another cruise company. Royal Caribbean's crew on this ship has no care or concern for the pleasure of their guests or allowing for the easy resolution of problems encountered.
The food is lackluster and the dining staff has no particular desire to either provide better quality of food or service.

Rude staff, poor service, very unresponsive to needs. Food quality was very bad.
Breakfast: Orders that had any variation from the menu, for example no cheese on my egg, were often wrong because the staff did not understand english well. It took may attempts to fix wrong orders. Royal Caribbean was so disappointing this time around. The staff did not seem sympathetic to our plight of lost luggage, and assured us that we would be able to shop for clothes on our excursions. This was my 5th cruise, 4th with Celebrity and first time on the Silhouette.
I couldn't believe the Main Dinning room's menu never changed during these couple years. Also the 14/F buffet was lousy!
The bathroom and parts of the public area smelled very bad. The odour came from the bathroom pipes and drainage system as the ship is not well maintained.
