Cabin was acceptable except for the fact that there was only one (not even a double) outlet in the entire stateroom. One plug so if you have two, three or four devices to charge, you have to let them take turns. Then if you are using the DVD player you can't charge anything as it uses the one plug. Our cabin was on the Lower Promenade deck and though we were initially concerned that people walking on deck might be able to see into our window, this was not a problem. We loved that we were able to walk out our cabin door, take a couple of steps and we were in the lower atrium, or at the elevators, or could go out on deck. One of the best locations we've ever had in all our 20+ years of cruising! Read Less

These outside cabins on deck 6 used to be more expensive than lower cabins, but now it's a good bargain. I'm guessing people were apprehensive about having a window on a promenade deck, but it wasn't a problem. No one can see in during daylight. The curtains are secure at night. There is a good view. It was a convenient location. A few times at night, we heard a loud scraping sound, but it was rare and not a problem. I would now not consider booking oceanview on a lower deck on this class ship..
