Ocean View Suite (S1) Cabin Reviews

Deck 4 midship. We were more than happy with this cabin; spacious, marble bathroom, walk in closet and lots of storage, large window and comfortable furnishings.

This is one of the handicap accessible cabins and is a little different than the standard arrangement. There is no bath only a shower. The WC is angled against the wall instead of perpendicular to it and thus may be a bit of a challenge for plus-size people (we were OK). The shower was very good, plenty of storage space including a walk-in closet (really "sidle-in" unless you have very narrow shoulders) and a nice picture window. Despite being adjacent to one of the lifts, we never heard it and the only noise issue was the people in the adjacent cabin letting their door slam shut on its closer every time. Read Less

Although we usually opt for balcony accommodations, we didn't think that it was worth the cost to upgrade to the French balconies on the Legend, and I think we made the right choice. The stateroom was extremely roomy and well-maintained, although there were some signs of the ship's age (slight rust around bathroom fittings and mildew in corners of the shower). We enjoyed having the Bluetooth speaker on which to play music. Since ours was at the end of the hall next to the elevator, we were a bit worried about noise, but it was never an issue. It ended up being a great location next to the main stairway. Read Less
