We had never cruised previously because we did not like the idea of a floating city, so the smaller tall ship made sense, especially when it had a cruise that included our bucket list of places to see in Greece. We did our research and knew what to expect, and the Star Flyer exceeded in most regards, especially the food! If tons of activity and entertainment is your goal, this isn't your best bet. If peaceful evenings on deck with no sounds but the wind thru the sales, and an intimate, yet casual setting for meals is what you like, this is for you. The group on board is small enough that mutual respect wins out over fighting for the best deck chairs or tables at dinner. The majority seemed to be seasoned travelers that know how to act in this setting and very friendly when sharing a table or space at the bar. So nice when the cruise director can address EVERYONE at the same time regarding excursions and ship-board fun. I don't think we'll ever take a trip on a large mega-ship! We were in Athens a few days before we left, which helped us get acclimated both to the time zone and to the heat/humidity of Greece (and the Greek islands we would visit). Embarkation was not well organized in Piraeus, and we had little guidance as to what to expect, but once we were aboard ship all was well. Disembarkation in Venice was very smooth. I've been on a couple of standard cruises before (Disney, Royal Caribbean). What stood out most about this trip was the sense of actual *sailing*. This was not just getting a small hotel room on a floating luxury resort that ended up in a different place each morning. The feel of the ship, the ability to stand on the deck as sails were let out or taken in, listening to the music play as we left each port ... it all felt like we were actually sailing (which we were!), not just being transported. Going up on deck in the evening and seeing the sea passing around us, the star fields above us, the wind blowing past us -- it was all a remarkably special experience, and one that I will seek to repeat in the future. The cabin was comfortable and well-appointed. The dining was tasty, upscale without being hoity-toity, and quite satisfactory. The nature of the Star Flyer is such that evening entertainment was a bit constrained -- some DJ dancing, some occasional talent show stuff -- but, honestly, I spent my evenings up on deck, enjoying the air and the sea (and the cocktails). Shore excursions were generally good. Lots to see, usually multiple options, and guide selections ran from fair to excellent. We actually enjoyed just visiting some towns on our own, without doing a formal excursion. Service was efficient and friendly. The passenger count (around 150 on our cruise) was small enough that the bar and dining room staff got to know us ad our preferences. The entertainment director, Simona, was dedicated and excellent. The ports we visited were highly varied. I particularly enjoyed Corfu, Kotor, and Hvar, but they all had something to recommend them, depending on what you were looking for, and, as noted, instead of the excursions either just self-directed wandering at the ports or hanging out on the ship and relaxing were both fine alternatives. A few things I could have asked to be better: - The shipboard Wifi was pricey and spotty in coverage around the ship. - The "drink of the day" at the bar was usually pretty mediocre (the bartenders could make much better cocktails or straight pour drinks). Honestly, sailing the Star Flyer has spoiled me for hotels-with-a-keel style cruising. I will definitely be looking to them for further experiences. We picked this cruise because we are loyal repeat customers, but no longer. It was such a disappointment. The crew were rude and room had no air conditioning. The staff did nothing to help us, the higher up we went with our concerns the worse we were treated. We finally had to get wifi off ship and have the main company help us with the issues. It was so stressful. Many others aboard had similar troubles, poor food, rude comments from staff, poor communication and no maps or names to go with the scenery around us. The ship looked old, dirty and dated and lacked the water equipment they had advertised. With no flippers available, we got stung by sea urchins and cut up on coral. The cruise director said it was our fault for not packing flippers, but the advertisement for this particular cruise promised flippers available for "all". The food was so recycled, it became a bore after the third day. Lots of dry bread at dinner, bread pudding the next day, of course. Very sad experience, last sail for us with this company. Read Less

We wanted to try the small boat experience. Wind in the sails etc.Freedom. What happened was unexpected and not very good. Worse parts first I think - which may take a while. The sails only went up when the boat was becalmed and not moving. Then only for short periods to take photos.So travel was by engine - noisy and smelly. We missed one important port due to weather conditions. Larger boats didn't have this problem. The substitute port was of no interest to us. Little to see, no maps or information. No excursions organised or even ideas on what to do or see. There was no time or research or plan. We were just dumped. No internet access to research ourselves. Lack of professionalism and unfriendly staff. It was obvious that no one really cared if we had a pleasant voyage. The staff were terrible in some cases. There was a lack of language proficiency. German was the main language. English and French and other speakers were badly treated. There was a large group of German travel agents onboard and all efforts were made to make them happy. The staff ignored the rest of us. There was no "sail away" from ports with music and sails. On departure from Athens it was pitch black on deck. Very crowded and no one could see or knew what was happening. I think I could vaguely hear the famous Vangelis music but although I walked around the deck it didn't get any louder. Staff were only there to sell champagne. The dining room was too cramped and full. Staff canteen feeling. Staff didn't engage with passengers, We sat with a delightful French couple one night and tried to find other french speakers for them. Asked the Maitre D' but he didn't bother to even think about it. Summed up the voyage I've saved the worst for last. Embarkation was easy but we were told to wait on deck for the safety talk. I'm guessing that the cabins weren't ready and they wanted to "manage" us there. Waited and waited. Sickly cheap drink offered. Eventually gave up and found our cabin. No map or introduction to the boat or schedule was given to us on day 1. Staff were here and there but no talking or engaging with passengers. They were mainly Filipino with poor english. Returned later for the safety talk. Disorganised mess. There are simply not enough European speakers there to manage the amount of passengers. Not enough space to do this properly. If that wasn't bad enough we had to sit while a staff member went through a long rambling talk in German, English and French. Went on and on. We can only hope that her German was good as the rest wasn't. All the briefings on deck were like this. Long, long waits. Long, long mangled talks that were often unintelligible. We wasted so much room waiting and enduring these. When we were on deck there was no where to sit and enjoy the feeling of the sea air. All seats were taken early and aggressively defended and were too few for the number of passengers. We had to stand or stroll but that was hard given the number of people packed into such a small space. The public rooms had very small windows and missed the sea experience. We didn't dock in ports. Apart from Athens all were done by tender or even zodiac. Now for the good bits. We found prices for drinks very reasonable. There was a great cheap laundry service. Food was plentiful. It was easy to move around the boat even for those with slight mobility problems. Not suitable for wheelchair users but there were plenty of elderly and/ or walking stick users. We did like our small but very comfortable cabin and the whole boat was very clean. Being on a small boat could be pleasant but there were far too many people for that to happen here. The overcrowding made the staff too stressed to do a good job and the passengers unhappy. It was not a happy voyage. Read Less

A small ship able to visit the smaller, uncrowded islands, excellent food, fantastic and reasonable shore excursions with a wonderful cruise director, and pleasant company. What more can one ask? Well, maybe rolling out of bed and walking 20 feet to a buffet breakfast, basking in the sun on the webbing slung from the bowsprit, climbing to the crow's nest for a fantastic view, or listening to the captain of the ship play classical guitar on the amateur entertainment night. We always wanted to try a sailing cruise and to see the Greek islands. The Star Flyer (or its sister ships in the Star Clipper line) was the ideal way to satisfy both desires for a reasonable price. We've done many large ship cruises but now we're sold on the intimacy and informality of the Star Clipper approach. It's great not to have any queues boarding, eating, visiting islands, or disembarking. While the dining was informal dress the food was great and the service elegant and attentive. The big name visit was to Mykonos, which we preferred least because it's too touristy and it was crowded with other cruise ships in port. We loved Amorgos: We were the only ship visiting this small Greek gem. We did a cruise tour to a monastery overlooking the beach where a famous diving movie, Le Grand Bleu, was filmed. Our guide was a local Greek woman who knew well the history of the monastery and the island. After the tour we spent the remaining hours in the small town and ran into the guide at her sister's patisserie. We then enjoyed watching the boats and locals at a port front restaurant while sipping wine and ouzo, for a few Euros each. Once again the guide appeared because her parents owned the restaurant. Our experiences on another small island, Patmos, where we visited the cave where St. John dictated the Apocalypse, was similar. For Monemvassia the cruise director Monica had the sports team organize a free walking tour to the fort at the peak of the island with a commanding view of the walled town at its base, the port, and the Peloponnese peninsula. Visits to the Greek ruins at Ephesus and Melos (an island just across from Mykonos) provided the cultural enrichment for the trip. We now understand why the majority of our fellow sailors were multiple repeat customers. One of them had been on 20+ Star Clipper cruises. But he's far from the record: One lady has sailed with the Star Clippers 190+ times. Well, we're on our way to compete! Read Less

We choose this cruise because we were already going to Cuba for 5 days prior and 3 days following; but we wish that we hadn't! We boarded on January 7: We were picked up by Star Flyer bus at Iberostar. We were not on the passenger list. Fortunately, a Star Flyer person said he remembered our name and that we should board the bus! After almost an hour of driving we stopped because the Star Flyer person had left two people behind at Iberostar. They arrived after another hour while we waited. Eventually, they arrived and we continued. They said that they were in the lobby waiting at 1:50pm. We arrived at Cienfuegos after 6:00pm – it was dark! The bus had us all disembark at the far end of the parking lot (thank goodness it wasn’t raining!). We had to select our luggage which was put onto carts to be taken to the ship. Then we had to enter customs and immigration. We were second in line when we were given two forms to complete 1 Medical 2 Immigration, or maybe emigration! By the time we had completed these forms we were the penultimate couple to walk to the ship and board. We were given our cards OK. Why weren’t these forms in the package? We were the only ones without the medical forms! We had to walk at least 200 metres to the ship across an open parking lot! Our cabin 509 was what we expected although the only window looked out onto a deck and was non-operable. Dinner was served – NOTE: all meals on board were very good and the serving staff excellent! January 8: We discovered that a trip to Trinidad was to be taken starting at 7:30am. Others on board were aware of this – we were not. We didn’t go, which was just as well since those who did thought that it was a waste of time. An hour and a half to get there. Just over an hour in Trinidad, and an hour and a half return because the ship was sailing at 2:00 for Cienfuegos. January 9: The sail was uncomfortable due to heavy seas and some of the sails were raised We were advised that we had to buy visas at 15Euros each for our return to Cuba. These could have been in the package! The visit to Cayman Brac was cancelled January 10: Docked at Georgetown Grand Cayman. The Mission House was closed due to renovations, so we went to Pedro St James, a renovated house, then onto the Botanical Gardens. Both were interesting. The trip director returned us to Georgetown at noon where we were left to our own devices since the ship was sailing at 3:30pm. We had a very good lunch at Breezes – Grouper! January 11: When back on board the captain advised that the stop at Cayo Largo was next. We thought better of this since the sea was rough. People who chose to go went by tender – a forty five minute trip! The first off were late and three hours later the final guests were taken. Later we discovered that there was nothing there other than sand and that the snorkelling dive had been cancelled. Also, there was a charge of 90CUCs each! Miserable sail with rough weather January 12: Again a very rough sea Punta Frances docking was also cancelled! This time apparently due to a previous vessel leaving garbage on the island! Since most of the time was spent on board there was a rush on the insufficient number of deckchairs. There were several arguments about who had what! There was a rule that if you left your chair for more than fifteen minutes you lost it – that was not enforced. The Cruise people ned to allocate access better. It didn’t matter to us frankly, but it was another aggravation. So, another day on the ship! January 13: Overnight the weather improved and the sailing was fairly calm. January 14: Disembarkation by 10:00am. After going through customs/immigration etc. we looked for our driver. Again, many drivers with passenger’s names but no one for us! Read Less

We don't like the huge ships. Coming from a small town, 3000 people is more than our cities population. My husband loves to sail. Star Flyer holds 170 passengers. We love the Carribean. Food was excellent. We found some of the passengers a little stuffy. One British guy was upset I was dancing barefoot on deck after dinner. We did meet a nice little group of friends we enjoyed the entire trip. Already booked for Thailand on the Clipper 2018. Hint...girls..long summer dresses work. Shorts and full,bathing suits for afternoon. Plenty of storage and hooks for drying clothes in the cabin. Bring conditioner. Food was European, a cheese platter was offered as a dinner course every night. Wine is 15.00 for a decent bottle. Everyone ordered a bottle of wine for dinner, and it would last a couple nights. No gaudy entertainment, just dancing on the deck and watching the sails flap in the wind. There were days when we had to power by engine...but we always left port with sails raised. Read Less

My Experience on the Star Flyer I’m surprised by the tenor of the reviews here. We just returned from a 7-day cruise on the Star Flyer, where we had a wonderful time. Overall The ship is a working sailing vessel and, as such, provides a different experience than the typical ‘big ship cruise’. There is no casino, exercise room or spa, and the maximum number of passengers on board is only 170. Our trip had 120 passengers and 77 crew. 62% of the passengers were repeat travellers. I travelled with my spouse, Two adult sisters, their husbands and my parents. Our ages ranged from 47 to 79. The Trip We were warned that travel by sail is weather dependent and, consequently, the ship may not make all its scheduled destinations. But Captain Yuriy Slastein and his capable crew hit every port as scheduled, despite some very challenging weather. Our first night, we encountered a heavy storm at sea that claimed at least 17 lives on shore. Although there was some sea sickness on board, the crew handled the storm well and, thankfully, kept us all safe. Only one sail was torn, no one was injured — and we made port the next day on schedule. Amazing. The next day, the damaged sail was taken down and repaired out on the deck where passengers could watch the process in action. A nice touch, and an indulgence for the avid sailors among us. The Star Flyer’s reduced size also made it possible for us to go to smaller ports the larger cruise ships would have to miss. Accommodation & Cleanliness Rooms were cleaned at least twice a day, with fresh towels as needed. Each block of rooms had a dedicated steward to provide cleaning and turn-down service — plus the occasional towel animal and a chocolate on the pillow each night. The ship and rooms were impeccably clean. There was no garbage or dirty dishes/glassware on deck, as others have described. And there always seemed to be plenty of deck chairs to go around. Common Areas The library and piano bar are comfortable environments, clean and well-maintained. The low-key ambience was conducive to relaxation and family fun; guests and crew alike were friendly and good-humoured. The Tropical Bar is the social hub of the ship, serving as a general meeting point for many activities, while the upper decks (one fore, one aft) housed the pool, the jacuzzi, and the best vantage point for seeing the ship’s workings in action. Passengers Our fellow passengers were mainly adults, aged 35-80, plus one small child and two teenagers. Passengers were multi-national: mostly American, German, Canadian, British, Swiss and Australian. I wonder how the nationalities vary on different schedules and locations. (Our trip was in October, travelling the Cote D’Azur from Nice to Barcelona.) The atmosphere on board was congenial, and passengers generally easy-going and courteous. Crew The crew were approachable, friendly, and very accommodating, cultivating a more personal experience than we’ve had on larger cruises. Perhaps this is due to the vastly-reduced passenger capacity. Or maybe it’s just the way the staff are trained. Many crew and staff members had been with the Star Clipper ships for a decade or more. The crew were quite open about the workings of the ship, with many tasks, like the aforementioned sail repair, taking place in full view of the passengers. Over the course of our trip, the crew invited guests to climb one of the masts, to lie in the nets on the bow sprit, to take a tour of the engine room with the engineers -- and to watch the ship set off and land every morning and evening, which was undoubtably a highlight of the entire experience. A non-negligible percentage of passengers were avid sailors; it’s easy to see why. Entertainment Wifi is limited! But board games, card games, and regularly-scheduled group activities were welcome diversions from our screen-based habits. We were never bored. Much of the daytime entertainment came from self-guided or pre-arranged tours. On our trip, one of the day excursions was cancelled due to lack of interest, but the two tours we participated in were well-organised. Often we chose to wander the destination cities on our own. In the evening, the pianist, Bela, was the focal point of much of the entertainment, assisted by local talent, crew members and passengers. During our trip, there was a fashion show, a passenger/crew talent show, and a couple of live music acts. The Pursor’s office had DVDs available to check out, as each room is equipped with a DVD player. Books in the library were also available for anyone to read. Meals Meals consisted of: • An early-bird continental breakfast (juice and pastries) • A large buffet breakfast with omelette station • A substantial, themed, lunch buffet • An afternoon snack in the Tropical Bar • A 5-course sit-down dinner with multiple menu choices • A midnight snack in the Piano Bar • An all-day self-serve coffee and tea station • An all-day bar (with bartender) All meals were open-seating, with dinner slightly more formal (no shorts or collarless shirts). All meals and snacks were served on china, with real glassware and utensils. Because we were travelling in a group of eight, the dining room staff reserved a table where our family could sit together throughout the trip. The food was much nicer than we expected — often it was excellent — and the number of choices was more than adequate. Once again, we were pleasantly surprised. Lasting Impressions ‘Pleasantly surprised’ is how I would describe much of my experience on this trip. Based on the reviews I read before departure, I thought I would struggle with aspects of the Star Flyer experience. Instead, I’m so glad I came. The service, the accommodation, and the personable, intimate atmosphere were much more than I’d hoped for. Our family has sailed on smaller vessels for generations, but this trip was something quite different: the silent gliding of the tall ship through the water, the scale and beauty of the vessel herself, and our own experience as an integral part of the sail — this was something unique indeed, and truly unforgettable. Recommended by a friend who also went on the same cruice, and he was a friend if the owner which he helped to finance to built the ships.. At that time I was living in Sweden. The crew and service aboard was absolut excellent. And I meet my future wife on the cruice,we get married feb 14 2014 she had cabin number 119, and I moved to USA where she was living. Very happy with the cruice. We are both living in southern California. Our tour went to: Malaga, Casablanca, Tanger, Gibraltar, Sevilla. We are hoping that we can make it again on one of the Flyer Ships. My wife had been on Star Flyer some years before, from Athen to Asia ended in Phuket, Thailand and to Hong Kong. For about half our honeymoon, we booked the 7-day Star Flyer cruise through the Society Islands. I hesitate to say "cruise" because I am not a big fan of cruises (this was the largest boat we've travelled on, usually we do Diving liveaboards or the like). So take this feedback from the standpoint of a "cruise hater" if you will. The boat itself is extremely nice. Again, I have not travelled on massive cruise ships but compared to "real" boats I've sailed on, this was extremely nice, large, and well maintained. It makes a good first impression when getting on-board. The cabin we got was also quite spacious, compared to what we'd expect on a smaller liveaboard boat. It was smaller than a typical "Motel" room on land, but still felt plenty spacious for the amount of time we spent there. We got a "Category 2" which seemed to be a sweet-spot for price/value. Most rooms seem the same basic size, but the location varies. I would recommend to anyone going on-board to avoid Categories below 3, they are (from reports from others) generally too noisy or otherwise compromised. Cat 2 are on the "main" room deck. Category 1 are larger and on the top deck, but are a bit in "high traffic" areas and didn't seem worth the price bump. Our trip was about 50% full, and most people on board had either gotten a hefty discount through a consolidator website (as we did) or cashed in on a free airfare offer from the cruise company and paid the standard rate. We were told by the crew that the next cruise out had about 110 people, which is more like 80% capcaity or so, but it seemed like the boats have been going out something like 50-75% full. IMO this is a good thing for the passengers, more staff-to-guest ratio! The activities from the boat are a combination of sign-up sheet outings which vary from place to place and open-ended schedules of boats to-and-from the shore or beach (or both). The activities were mostly pretty active - ATVs, Shark Feeding, Kayaking, etc. Most ports they also had up to 2 dives. Even with 50% of the guests possible, activities were popular and I think groups went out diving every day it was offered. The sports crew was very friendly. The whole crew was extremely friendly, even by FP standards. English is the primary language of the boat, followed by French and German. The sports crew for example was 75% Canadian. The bartenders were all great, very laid back and friendly, joking with the passengers. Not at all stuffy. The waiters as well. Prices for stuff on board were actually surprisingly good! In fact when we were moored the last night in Papeete, the crew (who were very friendly with by this point) said that the cheapest place to drink that night in Papeete was... on the boat! 3.5 Euros for a Hinano is pretty fair. Tropical drinks are like 4.50 each day when they are the "drink of the day" and maybe 7 euros otherwise. Compared to Bora Bora later, it waas a HUGE bargain. Prices for outings are probably marked up a bit from what the local vendors charge, but still quite fair. For diving, they charged 48 euros per person per dive with all equipment. Compare to our dives on Bora Bora which came out to around 75 euros per tank/dive. The dives go out directly from the boat to a local dive site via Zodiac launch. Very quick and convenient. Their dive gear is good, but could use an update. The food was good, and varied quite a bit. Breakfasts were pretty much the same each day, with a bit of variation (just like hotels). Really the food quality was on par wih a 4-star hotel's. Lots of snacks here and there. I was a bit annoyed that they charged for sodas and bottled water, I think it would have been classier to include non-alcoholic drinks. The average age of the passengers was definitely higher than we saw later at Bora Bora (Thalasso), but not as high as I would guess for a cruise like the Paul Gaugain. Being in our mid-30s, I would say there were 10-12 couples our age or younger, quite a few in their 40s-50s, and another groupd of 20 couples in the grey-haired years. But it was definitely not a cruise of "napkin folding lessons on he Lido deck" sort of thing. There were moments of cruise-ship cheesiness. There was a full-time "musician" guy who did cheesy renditions of randon stuff on a Casio keyboard. It verged on a "so un-hip its hip again" sort of vibe and was tolerable. There were little evening events (most of which we skipped, usually exhausted from so much sun & beach sports). Some like the talent show were a bit hit, and aided the sense of bonding amoung passengers. I should note here, even if you don't want to pay for beach actiities, there is a lot you can do for free. Each day either from the boat or from a nearby beach, you can Waterski, wakeboard, snorkel, Windsurf, Kayak, etc. all for nothing. Overall, this was a great way to see a lot of different islands at a per-night rate, including food, that is significantly cheaper than hotels & restaurants on each island. Especially on Bora! We had a lot of great unstructured days, like spending all day on a quiet beach in Huahine and drinking a lot of beer and having burgers at a local beach bar with some of the crew, to doing the same Shark & Ray feeding stuff in Bora that the hotels send folks to. There were some negatives. If you have any history of sea-sickness, this boat does move quite a bit. We had a lot of nights and even sometimes during dinner where the boat motion made a lot of people ill. Don't disregard this potental negative to your trip! Take all precautions ahead of time. Also the current schedule they are on feels a little rushed in some locations. We only really spent 10am through 4pm on Bora before the boat had to start paddling back fo Moorea. I would think the schedule could probably be improved to allow more dinners at-port. Overall, this was a great experience for us. Unlike a hotel, you really do get a chance to make friends with the crew and other guests. We ended up trading emails with about 20 other couples and sending each other pictures from the trip. The passengers were probably 50% or more American and decidedly west-coast so there are a lot of people to chat with, and dinners/meals are setup with a mixture of social tables with up to 8 spots, or 2-spot tables if you're feeling standoffish. It was very easy to make friends and conversation. The biggest negative is probably that the Star Flyer is only staying in this great location for another year and then heads back to Europe. According to the crew, this has less to do with the economic downturn, and more to do with escalating costs & regulations imposed by the FP government, as well as the maintenance challenges of maintaining a boat like this so far from the required parts and suppliers. I strongly recommend folks checking this out as a great way to get the highlights of all the major Society Islands (or Tuamotus on the longer 11-day cruise) at a great cost/value. You literally can experience all the best activities on each island (Scuba, snorkling, sharks, turtles, ATVs, etc.) while still paying less than $600 per night including your food for a very nice cabin. My only reservation would be if you are known to be susceptible to motion sickness that doesn't respond to Bonine or "the patch", don't risk 7-days of potential nausea, its a smaller boat, not a floating hotel! Don't avoid this thinking that its too full of old people (that's somewhat true, but not to a degree that detracts) or that there won't be anything to on board for the active vacationers. Read Less

We did a fair amount of research before settling on Star Clipper Cruises. Our decision was based on the fact it was a small ship, small number of passengers (140), and a 7 day (as opposed to 14 day) cruise through Tahiti, our chosen destination. The ship's size was wonderful. Comfortable in size, sort of like a boutique hotel. Two swimming pools, maybe a little short on deck space but tolerable. The trade off of size meant a little touch and go with respect to big waves while sailing, but tolerable. There is essentially no ship-board entertainment, but again we knew this getting in. A very international group of well traveled passengers, all very interesting. Essentially no kids, which was a plus. Most 40 - 60's y/o. Many Europeans, Americans, and a few Asian and Central American passengers. Food was ok, generally not remarkable. Breakfast buffet as expected; Lunch about the same. Dinner was ok but nothing fabulous. Decent selection but presentation and tastes perhaps a bit better than some ships, i.e. Princess but not as good as Oceania or RSSC. Afternoon cocktail hour was amateurish, the food that is. Cost of drinks on the ship were very reasonable and appreciated. During our cruise there was a problem with the AC in the dining room, so dinner was a bit uncomfortable. Stateroom quite small which was tolerable except for the intermittent functioning of the air conditioner (average temperature in Tahiti was high 80's F. Mattress of the bed was substandard, felt as if it was made with straw. Bed covers were decent but no top sheet provided, rather an integrated comforter. Also by the 5th day the toilet began to smell a bit. Maybe you get what you pay for. Our cruise was about $6500 for 2, including airfare from LAX. Would we go again? Maybe, would probably go for one of the larger Star Clipper ships and maybe in an upgraded room. Good way to see Tahiti.
