We chose this ship as we are avid sailors, and if you want to sail in a tall ship, this is probably the best. However, this comes with some compromises that have to be accepted. We had a great time on the Royal Clipper. The ship is beautiful, our cabin was very comfortable, the food was wonderful, and the crew very friendly and helpful. There's nothing quite like sailing on a clipper ship, you're closer to the ocean and you can really feel the sea. This was a return visit for us. We did the Grenadines last year so went for the Windward's this time.
