Review for Seabourn Legend to Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

Legend cruise had a less than perfect start but all ended well. My wife and I realize that there is no broadly accepted "6 star" standard but we do think it implies a better than average "5 star" experience and that is what we expect when paying "6 star" prices. Last October we experienced 10 wonderful days aboard the Seabourn Spirit out of Venice and we posted a glowing review on this ...

The Seabourn LegendEmbarkationIt does not take long to realize you are in for something very special when you board the Seabourn Legend. We just completed our fourth voyage on the Legend and I have no question there will be more. You walk up the gangway and enter the Reception area, where you are promptly handed a chilled flute of champagne. An attentive crew member has already insisted on ...

Review for Seabourn Legend to Caribbean - Southern

This was my 1st Seabourn cruise. I have cruised on most of the major lines before, and truly, did not know if I would enjoy a small ship with 198 fellow passengers. Well, other than the Celebrity Alaska cruise I have already booked and paid for that is happening in July 2010, I will probably NEVER sail on a 'mega liner' again. The Seabourn experience starts off with several staff members welcoming ...

This was our first time aboard Seabourn Legend, will I ever go back again..... DEFINITELY !!! I am now totally hooked .... Embarkation we arrived 30 minutes prior to the time given, we were taken to the King Olav Lounge to register this took around 15 minutes, once all procedures were completed we were taken to our suite about 15 minutes later. Background Information: This was our first Seabourn cruise and only our second cruise ever. We planned this trip for almost a year. I had done a large amount of research before selecting Seabourn and had very high expectations based on what we read. I should also mention I am difficult to impress. We choose the 7 day Caribbean Hideaways voyage as our first taste of Seabourn. We are also not ...

This was my first cruise on Seabourn. I had previously cruised on Holland America's Amsterdam to Alaska, and wanted to try a smaller ship. These are my impressions of Seabourn's Legend. I was on for 14 days to the Caribbean. Embarkation: Came aboard in St. Thomas, absolutely no one in line when I came to the ship. I was sailing with my sister and brother-in-law and another lady friend of ours, ...

Seabourn Legend Crossing. March 2005. A review by CruiserDan The Itinerary This was a trans-Atlantic crossing. We left St. Thomas USVI, and cruised the Atlantic Ocean to Lisbon, Portugal. We had one stop in Madeira, Spain. St. Thomas is a beautiful Caribbean Island, with lovely restaurants, beautiful beaches and plenty of duty-free shopping. We arrived a day prior to the cruise, and stayed at ...

I can't say enough about Seabourn. It is definitely the BEST. I cannot say it better than what the professional critics write. Service is unbelievable. After embarking, we were given champagne while getting our ID cards, etc. There was a bottle of champagne waiting in our suite, which was replenished daily. And when we disembarked, the captain was standing at the bottom of the stairs to thank ...
