Best O Cruise Ever

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Sirena

This was our fifth Oceania cruise and our first transatlantic. We are in our late 70's and have some mobility challenges; so the port intensive itineraries can be exhausting. This was our experiment to see how we would like more sea days, and it did not disappoint. Sirena, one of the smaller O ships, is also a good size for us. We selected a penthouse suite right by the aft elevators; so we ...

Background information: We are veteran cruisers with many years of cruising in different parts of the world on different cruise lines (includes Oceania, Disney, RCI, Celebrity, Princess, Holland America, Cunard). This was our 30th cruise, our longest cruise to date, our eighth on Oceania and our first on Sirena. I have done several other cruise reviews on Cruise Critic. This cruise was ...

Absolutely incredible!!!! The room size was great as was the size of the bathroom. The Bulgari amenities are a lovely touch. You event have a choice of the scent that is placed in your room. Sirena is a lovely ship and her crew ensured that we had a perfect experience!!! We are so happy with our sailing we have rebooked with Oceania on the Marina for 2019. The ports were wonderful on ...

Barcelona to Miami

We chose this cruise because we had been on a very busy cruise on Oceania Riviera Barcelona to Barcelona for ten days then spent 4 days in Barcelona before embarking on the Sirena. We wanted some R&R and also wanted to avoid the jet lag by having gradual time changes. The ship was very clean as was our cabin, always cleaning somewhere on the ship. Our cabin staff were so friendly polite and ...

Sirena Transatlantic cruise - 16 nights.

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Sirena

This is my second cruise on the Sienna and I recommend this smaller ship. It is elegant and the friendly staff will treat you like royalty. The cabin is comfortable, clean and roomy. Oceania is known for their luxury dining and they won't disappoint you. Even in the Café, they will grill your lobster tails, lamp chops, or steaks to perfection. We weren't sure if we would be bored on an 8 day ...

Just returned from my 16 night cruise on the Sirena. It was fabulous. Great service, food, accommodations, entertainment. I had sailed Athens to Rome last year on Sirena. It was great to be back on a familiar ship. The staff is wonderful, friendly and accommodating. The food great. The two specialty restaurants (Red Ginger and Tuscan Steak) were very special. Particularly great service and ...

Fabulous cruise, horrible air arrangements

Cruise could not have been better, only glitch was arriving in Granada 4 hours late, so we missed out excursion to Alhambra, which was the site we had most looked forward to visiting. I suggest the itenary be tweeked in future to allow more time in this port, perhaps an overnight. Shore excursions were lacking the audio sets we are accustom to on other ships. It was difficult to hear ...

First time on Oceania

After mostly taking Carnival Cruises in the past, with the exception of another trans-atlantic we did on Celebrity, Oceania was a huge upgrade. The food was excellent and the ship was very clean and nice. I was especially impressed by the crew. They went out of their way at all times to help us and to pleasantly greet us. A few minor things for us that maybe could have been better: 1. The ...

My brother and brother in law are frequent Oceania cruiser and convinced my husband and I to join them. What a wonderful experience, from exceptional food, staff and comfort. The majority of the entertainment was exceptional. A string quartet which played everyday at tea as well as in the grand hall and a night in the Sirena ounge were extremely talented. As musicians we tend to have high ...

We read so many negative comments on Cruise Critic about the Sirena, we were worried about this experience ! Well, not to worry.... the cruise was wonderful ! Sirena is absolutely beautiful!!! Well appointed in every area! Horizons has been much improved and is lovely, even adding bathrooms! Contrary to many complaints I read, the food is still 5 star! Jacques Bistro at lunch in the GDR ...
