Terrific refurbishment. Cabins were gutted down to the studs and rebuilt. Bathrooms are nicely appointed (see my live from Oceania Sirena thread on the boards with tons of photos), but VERY small - especially for a Penthouse Suite. Other than the small bathrooms A+ on the refurbishment. Very nicely laid out. Additionally, I love the sliding balcony doors as opposed to the ones that open out and slam all the time - often causing vibrations several cabins away. Electrical outlets and USB ports are plentiful. Lighting is excellent. Now all lights are LED. Bright white versus the darker yellow prior to refurbishment. Read Less

The one bad thing about this particular room is that it is directly below the ping pong table and you hear feet constantly running back and forth.

Although labeled a Penthouse Suite, it was really just a slightly larger veranda cabin with a large shower stall and no bathtub. The "dining table" was so tiny that one could either fit the serving dishes or the dining plates, but not both. My wife and I ordered room service breakfast a few times; and it was very uncomfortable. The television was only slightly larger than a computer monitor and of much inferior quality. Definitely not HD, as one finds on other cruise lines - and a very limited choice of channels. We had a butler who was professional and obliging, but only available part of the time. Considering the hefty premium we paid for this so-called suite, we felt somewhat cheated. Read Less

The biggest shock was the size of the Penthouse. It had no closets and very limited space to put your clothes. Any cruise over 12 days would be an issue. The bathroom is a joke. You can almost take a shower, go to the toilet, and shave without moving. The width of the bathroom is so small it is hard to describe it. The shower is approx. 3’X 4’ I feel sorry for the passengers that did not have penthouses. I strongly recommend you stay from this ship if you want to experience a great cruise; there competitors offer such better choices Read Less
