Enjoyable return to cruising

Review for Sirena to Baltic Sea

Chose this cruise as we like Oceania, embarkation close to home, and because of the port calls around the North Sea and part of Southern Baltic. The first port in Faroes was cancelled to everyone’s disappointment, replaced by Invergordon. Which I really enjoyed, to my surprise. Otherwise everything went to plan and we thoroughly enjoyed the mix of other ports, particularly Stavanger and Oslo. ...

ABC-islands

Review for Sirena to Caribbean - All

Having done several cruises in the Caribbean, my husband desperately wanted to visit the ABC-islands with Princess Cruises. Since they could not confirm a fixed stateroom for a back-to-back cruise, we ended up choosing Oceania cruises for the first time. We usually book our vacation one year ahead. Needless to say we were excited, after seeing all the videos and information on the internet, ...

Arriving 5 hours late to Miami today. They say it is due to headwinds BUT SHIP HAS BEEN CRUISING VERY VERY SLOWLY FOR OVER 24 HOURS. Word is there is engine troubleBypassed Aruba the second scheduled port. Got into Grenada 4 hours late T almost 5pm. Food not up Oceania past standard. Boring experience. No activities during daytime on decks lower than 10 and when ship sailing is rough deck 10 ...

Very disappointing cruise and management.

This cruise was doomed from the start. On the first day, the boat went dead in the water, all electricity went out, no engine. No explanation, nothing said. The next day, the captain informed the guests that the currents, waves and wind would cause us an extra day at sea and also the new timing would cause us to bypass our first port, Aruba. We were also delayed several hours arriving to ...

Three ports in Cuba

Review for Sirena to Cuba

Three ports in Cuba - having been to all the major islands in the Caribbean we decide on something different. Cruise food and staff were wonderful! As soon as you sit down anywhere they ask if you want water, coffee, drinks. Very friendly staff but not pushy. All non-alcoholic beverages are included. Food quality was great - lobster in the dining room, specialty restaurants and even a ...

3rd Oceania cruise, 2 on the Marina. this is a smaller ship that the Marina, so it had fewer specialty restaurants but this didn't matter that much. What it did lack was any WOW factor. I hope this will improve when the ships are redone. EMBARKATION: arrived at port around 1:00 and probably was on ship by 1:20. We went to lunch which was fine. Rooms weren't ready until after 3 for us, ...

Great cruise to Cuba

This was our first cruise on Oceania and had chosen to give them a try when we first saw their published itineraries for Cuba. We visited Havana for 2 days, Cienfuegos and Santiago de Cuba on this 7 night cruise from Miami. We really enjoyed being on a small ship and never had any major issues getting seats for meals or lounges on the pool deck. The food was very good. We were very impressed ...

Elegant cruise

Review for Sirena to Cuba

It was our first Oceania cruise and it will not be the last ! The Sirena is a small intimate elegant ship and it was a very different cruise from Miami to Lima. The ports were interesting but what made this cruise different from the 20 + other cruises was the ship. It was small but never boring and the cruise director, Dottie, was a pro. Because of the smaller amount of passangers,600, you ...

Excellent Service

Review for Sirena to Australia & New Zealand

This was our fifth cruise with this line and we were in the minority. Most passengers we met had enjoyed many, many more. Service is attentive. Our circumnavigation of Australia provided us with diversity in choice of ports. We appreciated the shuttle buses to the city centres. Unlike other cruise lines we have used, Oceania has a nice bistro where you can get speciality coffees and not have ...

BEST CUISINE on SEA or LAND

This was our 20th cruise and we considered their cuisine THE FINEST ON SEA or LAND!! The dinners in the Grand Dining Room, Tuscan and Red Ginger rivaled ANY and ALL High-end restaurants in NYC. The servers were OUTSTANDING! Very friendly and Super efficient! The embarkation went smoothly. We were in our stateroom @ 12:30. The room stewardess/stewards were EXCELLENT! We were treated like ...
