This was my very first cruise. It was a gift from a friend it was a spare of the moment trip. She asked me to go with her on the Friday that we got out for Thanksgiving break. She told me we were leaving that night to go to Galveston and we was going to sail out on the Saturday. She asked me to go on a cruise with her. I had a GREAATTT Time I can not wait to go on another. Next time I would like ...
Overall this cruise was well done—everything went smoothly, staff was friendly and helpful, food was well made, embarkation and disembarkation was a clear, simple and speedy process, a wide variety of activities were offered for varying interests.
Unfortunately, there were two instances that quite negatively impacted my experience. The first being, I attended a minute-to-win it event that was ...
This is my third Princess cruise, second with the medallion app. Last October on the Discovery we thought we were just having bad luck with their technology, but its failure this time around can’t be a coincidence. Trying to upload documents before the cruise was a joke, and it took sitting on hold for TWO HOURS to speak to a live human being to resolve it. We finally got that taken care of, and ...
This was the only sailing during my anniversary. All the dining rooms were booked as they were only open for 4hrs a day. We were forced to eat in the cafeteria dining where the food was most often overcooked or undercooked and rarely open during posted hours. (24hr cafe listed in daily paper)
Ordering on the my way ap took 2-5 hrs to get our order. Only 1 person was attending the bars, pizza, ...
To begin, we spoke to numerous staff members who shared how severely understaffed they were on this ship for our trip. Room service took hours to complete and, that was IF you were lucky enough, they actually came. Guests we spoke with all joked about how useless the medallion app was when ordering anything. People were getting their food and drinks the following day or items that were not at the ...
This cruise was a last min memorial trip. We have been on 20+ cruises/various ships RCL, NCL, Carnival and Disney. Did Carnival same itinerary 2022 memorial and had a great time. RCL this was by far the worst cruise experience. Embark Day: prk lot 80% full but they refuse to let anymore cars in even with handicap they directed us to a lot blocks away and we had to wait for a shuttle take us to the ...
The Grandeur of the Seas is by far the worse ship I’ve ever been on by FAR. It was rumored that this ship was going to be retired a few years ago and it should have. I am not sure what sparked the decision to keep it floating and running trips—especially a 7 day cruise, but that was by far the worse decision you could’ve made from a customer perspective.
The entire ship is old and raggedy, ...
Royal Caribbean stateroom and dining options were a disappointment. We had a balcony room, the balcony was full of sandblasting dust on the chairs and table. The interior sofa was heavily soiled with stains and the carpet was dirty with red juice or wine stains. The wood cabinetry was grimy and sticky. RC should spend more time updating the interior of staterooms instead of building bigger boats. ...
Love this ship. We had a few different people that works on it make it so great. One of them that was AMAZING is Putu in the Casino he's a bartender. He is such a great man. And a very hard worker. He did am excellent job. And I'm sure hoping he will be there when I go back in Sept-Oct. He made our Cruise the best. Thank you carnival and thank you Putu. Also the cruise director was so fun! He made ...
I felt publicly embarrassed on our Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas cruise out of Galveston. Our first dinner started off with the waiter saying the “chicken was finger licking good.” When we left the dinning room, we were greeted with passengers licking their finger. So on and so on daily. I complained to the Restaurant Manager about this but to no avail. The last day of the cruise they sat ...
