Just off Navigator last week. We are moderately experienced cruisers (~24 total), though this is our first Regent since the old Radisson Diamond in 1997.

This is a very comfortable ship which is spotlessly clean and which has excellent friendly staff.
Our Neptune suite had a comfortable 3 seater lounge and 2 queen sized beds as we elected to have the very large dual mattress bed separated so as not to disturb one a other. The balcony was extremely spacious.

I choose this cruise because I was looking forward to exploring and getting to know SE Asia. It was a terrible experience overall. The ports of call were in dirty, large cities where it was difficult to get out of the city areas without taking long bus rides. The tours were long, boring and we could barely understand the guides. We chose this cruise so that we could visit friends in Sri Lanka. we upgraded to a suite which I found, particularly small. Cutbacks are very noticeable.
Even at the daily quiz, there were no prizes given for the winners anymore, like a keyring or a hat.
Too much room is taken up with the art auction.
Staff did not seem as happy as usual

We are long time Oceania aficionados, and were very much looking forward to this cruise from Singapore to Sydney. The Regatta is a small ship (and I mention this as a plus) which was last refurbished in 2019. While I have no complaints about the condition of the ship, it does not have the "wow" factor many people are looking for while cruising.

- the airco of our cabin (incl the complete corridor incl our neighbours) was not cool enough. esp. at night the cabin temperature was way too hot. we woke up in the middle of night sweating.
