First time coming in we have visited the pursers office to ensure we don't get charged their hefty daily room service charge.. then next day the charges were applied to our room... anyways we got this fixed right away by visiting them.. no worries. Cabin review is below.
Been on more than 10 cruises e.g. Celebrity, Princess, NCL, Costa, etc.
Bottom line it is old and shows it. The ship itself if not impressive. Worse yet was staff. It seems like they was no synergy and each person acted on their own with little regard to customer service.

We took a cruise from Singapore to Dubai, on part of the QM2 around the world trip. The cabin with sheltered balcony was great and we had an ice bucket with champagne waiting for us when we embarked. We joined QM2 at Singapore on a section of her world voyage.
Embarkcation was reasonable enough and were soon at the Kings Court for a light lunch.
Our cabin was an obstructed balcony on deck 7 - a spacious cabin well turned out although we did have a problem with a leaking toilet for 2 days at the start of the cruise.

Itinery was part of a bucket list tour and expectations were set high to travel Cunard for the first time. We are platinum NCL travellers (smaller ships) plus experienced P & O and Royal Caribbean passengers having competed over 40 cruises..

We have sailed many lines and Cunard definately has a different feel to the American lines despite US$s used onboard and US owned. There was not the constanr push to buy packages and alcohol was even allowed to be brought onboard but only for cabin use. The so called formal nights started at 10pm.
