Terrible room and no consideration of complaints

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Ovation of the Seas

We chose this cruise as it was part of a package through eCruising and it sailed into Sydney from Singapore. From the beginning of the cruise tthings did not go well. The organisation (transfers) to the port were poorly organised. This is not Royal Caribbean’s fault but Ecruising’s . We waited at a very crowded port with no drinks, food and inadequate seating for several hours and were not ...

Terrible experience and worst food ever

We had several issues in this trip but the ones that really worth a review are the food and the shore excursions. This was by far the worst food I've ever experienced on a ship, it's not only way below RCCL standards, but it's below any cruise line standards as well. This was beyond low quality, it's border line with a lack of respect for the passengers, I could not even relate the food to a ...

The whole time we were on board we were bombarded with the benefits of using Royal Caribbean’s excursions. We were ‘Blackmailed’ into using their excursions by being told we could not get off the boat in time to see the Seoulunless we used heir transport which was proven to be wrong once we docked, some people even cancelled pre-booked trips on the strength of what we were told. It cost 65$ each ...

Cruise of disappointment

Thought it would be an exciting cruise and brought along 21 family members. Ship was relatively new and food was okay. We all spent big bucks on rooms with balconies and one of us had a birthday and all royal caribbean did was left a really tiny birthday card in the room, so tiny it almost got discarded as waste paper! Such was the generosity and extent of so called excellent customer service. We ...

Bad experiences onboard Ovation of the seas by RCI

I choose this cruise is because that the review from the YouTube and advertisements of the ship which makes me wanted to feel the same terrific and wonderful experience what others awesome passengers feedback. However, there were many hiccups ever since we booked for the package. The staff at RCI Office informed us that I could reserve booking on activities onboard such as iFly, North Star etc... ...

RC fail on all counts

Royal Caribbean Ovation of the Seas. I hope this review is helpful to other travellers planning their cruise on this ship. Embarkation in Singapore was a cluster fail, disorganized and inefficient. Even though we pre checked in, we still had several long lines to wait in and it took over an hour. Waiting area did not have good AC. You had to wait in sections based on your boarding time ...

**WORST ASIA CRUISE EVER!! -OVATION OF THE SEAS WITH RCCL !!!**

By far this was the WORST ASIA CRUISE WITH ROYAL CARIBBEAN CRUISE LINE (RCCL) my family & I have gone on! If you're planning to go on this ship - OVATION OF THE SEAS, I would HIGHLY recommend you to reconsider or CANCEL your reservation! We felt like we were guinea pigs for this brand new ship! We've cruised over 15 cruises with RCCL(yes...this was NOT our first cruise with RCCL), Celebrity, ...

Never choosing Royal Caribbean again!

It's the second day of the Royal Caribbean cruise, and I'm writing this review as I stand in yet another slow-moving queue. I'm not even going to wait until the cruise is over before venting my frustration. If I hold it in any longer, I might spontaneously combust. Let me say at the outset, I rarely post negative reviews about anything. A situation has to be REALLY bad before I would consider ...

Extremely Disappointing and Traumatic; Royal Carribean

Entertainment and Services -- Extremely poor management of on board activities. Signed up for this cruise to enjoy the much advertised front page banner activities such as iFLY and Northstar. But when i boarded the ship on departure day was told that no more slots left. ALL had been fully booked before my scheduled boarding time. This is the same as buying a handphone but not being able to use ...

ROYAL CARIBBEAN MISREPRESENTED US ON TWO OCCASIONS AND WE HAD TO PAY FOR IT!!

This cruise did not deliver what was promised. The star attractions (i.e. North Star and iFly) were fully booked by the time we boarded. There was no transparent reservations system notified to us before boarding. To quote guest services: only 10% of the guests onboard will have their turn on these attractions. This was not mentioned in the advertisements. We were misrepresented by the ...
