This was sold to us as a luxury cruise. It was far from this. The checking-in procedure at Singapore was pathetically inefficient and confused. Although we have been on over 30 cruises of 1 week or more, we did not know what to expect with Azamara. They had just changed to Azamara Club Cruises offering included gratuties, wine with lunch and supper, included soft drinks, bottled water, shuttle service for ports, etc. CHECK IN was fast, smooth and easy. We booked this cruise as it was billed as a "luxury cruise", small ship and intimate atmosphere, with open dining nd visiting several asian and middle east countries.We were inviced with an additional US$ 12.25 per person per day (!!) for their "Excellent service" provided by superb staff on board.
